Tipping Off
• Navy and Cornell are meeting for the second year in a row.  Cornell won a 61-50 decision lat year in what was the first game in the series in 65 seasons (1954 NCAA Tournament).  The Big Red leads, the series, 3-1.
 
• The only other game in the series to be played in Annapolis was the inaugural meeting back on Feb. 13, 1915. 
 
• Navy will play another Ivy League team Saturday in Brown.  Cornell will play Patriot League foes Lafayette on Dec. 7 and Colgate on Dec. 11.
 
• Navy's most recent game saw the Mids drop a 65-61 decision to Lipscomb on Nov. 22.
 
• Cornell heads to Annapolis after falling, 68-66 in overtime, at Coppin State on Nov. 23.
 
Greg Summers has missed a double-double by one rebound in each of the last two games.  He first posted 10 points and nine rebounds at Liberty then tallied 12 points and nine rebounds against Lipscomb. 
 
• Summers has scored 54 points through five games this season after scoring 95 points in 26 games last year.
 
USNA Vehicle Access
Vehicle access to the U.S. Naval Academy is limited to those with a Department of Defense identification card.  All other fans must park at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium ($5 per vehicle) and ride the free shuttle bus to and from the game. Please enter gate five off of Taylor Avenue.  Shuttle bus service will begin at one hour before tip time.  Note that a government issued identification card (driver's license) must be carried and presented by visitors ages 18 and older to the USNA prior to being allowed onto The Yard.  Those aged 17 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
 
Tickets
Tickets remain on sale through the Navy Ticket office in advance at 1-800-US4-NAVY or by clicking on the TICKETS tab in the masthead of NavySports.com, as well as on the evening of the game at the Alumni Hall box office.  Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for youth / seniors.  Group tickets (minimum 20) are also available at $5 for adults and $3 for youth/seniors.
 
Promotions
Fans bringing at least THREE non-perishable food items to Alumni Hall Tuesday evening to donate to the holiday food drive will receive a FREE ticket to the basketball game.
