After playing its first five games at home, the 20th-ranked Navy men's lacrosse team will go on the road for the first time this season when it travels to Easton, Pa. on Saturday to battle Lafayette. Faceoff is set for 12:00 pm at Fisher Stadium. The Mids, who enter the contest 3-2 overall and 1-0 in Patriot League action, are led by eighth-year head coach Rick Sowell, while the 4-2 Leopards are under the direction of first-year head coach Pat Myers. Tuesday's game marks the 21st meeting in a series that Navy leads, 18-2, and dates back to 1926.
• Follow the Action: The Navy-Lafayette contest will be carried live on 1430 AM / 99.9 FM WNAV with Pete Medhurst handling the call. Coverage begins with the Navy Lacrosse Pregame Show at 11:45 am. • Welcome to the Party: For the first time this season, Navy appears in both the USILA Coaches Poll and the Inside Lacrosse Media Poll. The Mids are 20th in the USILA poll, while they are 19th in the media poll. Navy is also among 11 schools whose men's and women's programs are currently ranked - Maryland, North Carolina, Syracuse, Virginia, Loyola, Denver, Duke, Johns Hopkins, Penn State, Notre Dame.
• Mids Among Elite Company: One of seven Div. I lacrosse programs that has produced 700+ wins, Navy became just the fourth to reach 800 when it defeated UMBC on Feb. 15. Johns Hopkins leads the way with 985 wins, followed by Syracuse's 905 and Maryland's 827.
• 50/50: Senior All-American midfielder Greyson Torain will make his 50th appearance in a Navy uniform when he takes the field on Saturday. It will also mark his 50th collegiate start.
• Point Streak: Senior midfielder Ryan Wade owns the nation's 11th-longest point-scoring streak with a goal or an assist in each of the last 29  contests. He has produced 77 points on 23 goals and 54 assists during the streak that dates back to the Feb. 25, 2017 contest against Boston University.

Torain is tied for 23rd on the all-time list with 112 points.
