ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The No. 12 Navy women's lacrosse team (4-2) welcomes Brown (2-3) to Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium on Saturday for the final nonconference home game of the season. Opening draw is slated for 12:00 p.m. Live stats and live video will be available for the game.

The game between Navy and Brown will mark the first meeting between the two programs, however, Navy head coach
Cindy Timchal is 12-0 (1.000) all-time against Brown.
Navy is 2-0 (1.000) all-time against members of the Ivy League, defeating Penn (W, 11-10) in the first round of the 2017 NCAA Tournament and notching a win against Columbia (W, 21-10) last season.

This season,
Kelly Larkin (Alexandria, Va.) leads the team with 28 points, scoring team-best 17 goals and boasting a team-high 11 assists.
Kayla Harris (Annapolis, Md.) is second with 18 points thanks to 14 goals scored.
Annalise Heyward (Charlotte, N.C.),
Andie O'Sullivan (Valley Cottage, N.Y.), and
Reagan Roelofs (Apple Valley, Minn.) are also in double-figure points with 15 (9g 6a), 12 (9g 3a), and 10 (7g 3a), respectively.
Heyward leads the team with 31 total draws, while Harris is second with 24. Heyward paces the team with 13 caused turnovers, while
Marie Valenti (Bechtelsville, Pa.) is second with 10.
Defensively, goalie
Gab Harchelroad (Pittsburgh, Pa.) has logged just over 340 of the 360 minutes between the pipes for the Midshipmen. This season, she is 3-2, including a victory over a ranked opponent. The senior has made 39 stops with a team-best 18 ground balls and seven caused turnovers. Freshman
Abbi Young (Alamo, Calif.) has played in three games, earning her first collegiate victory over No. 11 Florida. Young has four saves in just under 20 total minutes of work.
Scouting the Opponent
Brown enters the weekend with a 2-3 overall record, including a 1-2 clip on the road. The Bears fell to Bryant, 14-13, on Wednesday to drop their second consecutive game.
Risa Mosenthal leads the Bears in both goals and points with 22 goals and three assists on the year for 25 points. Maggie Fowler ranks second in the scoring column with six goals and a team-best 11 assists for 17 points while Emma DeGennaro is the squad's second leading goal scorer with 14 tallies on the year while having one assist for 15 points.
Entering the week, Mosenthal led the Ivy League in goals and was second in points while Fowler was third in assists.
Defensively, Mason Warble has a team-high 12 caused turnovers, good for ninth in the conference. In net, Erin Tucker has started all five games and has put together a 11.57 goals-against average and a .471 save percentage. She has registered double-digit saves in her last four-consecutive outings.
Larkin, Valenti Earn Weekly Accolades
The Patriot League announced its weekly women's lacrosse honors on Monday afternoon and Navy's
Kelly Larkin (Alexandria, Va.) and
Marie Valenti (Bechtelsville, Pa.) were selected as Patriot League Attacker and Defender of the Week, respectively. In addition, Larkin was named the Naval Academy Athletics Association (NAAA) Athlete of the Week, presented by Northrop Grumman.
Larkin helped lead Navy to a pair of victories over Villanova (W, 14-6) and a come-from-behind win over No. 11 Florida (W, 14-13). The junior scored nine goals with two assists for a team-best 11 points on the week. In addition, she picked up four ground balls and a caused turnover. Against Villanova, Larkin led the team with a career-high six goals to go along with two assists for eight points. The Alexandria, Va. native had three goals on five shots against No. 11 Florida, helping the Mids to a 14-13 victory over the Gators. She sparked the 5-0 run to close out the game with a free-position goal for the first score of the run. Larkin closed the run by scoring the game-winner with 16.5 seconds remaining, burying a
Annalise Heyward (Charlotte, N.C.) pass into the back of the net. She was also credited with the game-winning goal against Nova.
Valenti anchored a Navy defense that posted a pair of victories on the week. She finished the week with a team-high seven ground balls and a team-best four caused turnovers. The defensive captain opened the week with two ground balls and three caused turnovers against Villanova, limiting the Wildcats to just six total goals in the game. Against No. 11 Florida, Valenti finished the game with a team-best five ground balls and a caused turnover. In addition, she facilitated the offensive attack, helping the Mids convert 37-of-44 clear attempts (.841) on the week.

The No. 12 Navy women's lacrosse team dropped an 18-5 decision to No. 1 Boston College at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium on Wednesday night. The Midshipmen trailed 6-4 with just under 14 minutes to play in the first half, but the Eagles closed out the game with a 12-1 run to secure the victory.
Offensively, Navy was led by
Kelly Larkin (Alexandria, Va.) who scored a pair of goals on the day. She was joined by
Reagan Roelofs (Apple Valley, Minn.) who finished with two points (1g 1a).
Moriah Snyder (Bel Air, Md.) and
Marina Lazarides (Westminster, Md.) chipped in a goal apiece, while

Kayla Harris (Annapolis, Md.) added assists. Roelofs led the team with four draws, while
Annalise Heyward (Charlotte, N.C.) added a pair.
Defensively,

For Valenti, the senior now has 95 caused turnovers and is just five CTs shy of becoming the sixth player in the Patriot League with 100 or more caused turnovers.
Reigning Tewaaraton Award winner Sam Apuzzo of Boston College led all players with 10 points, netting a game-high eight goals to go along with 12 draw controls.
