ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The Navy women's lacrosse team remained ranked in all three national polls. The Midshipmen opened the 2019 season ranked in all three national preseason polls, and have been ranked nationally for 28 consecutive weeks, dating back to the final poll of 2017.
The Midshipmen are currently ranked No. 13 according to the IWLCA Coaches Poll. Navy is ranked No. 15 according to Inside Lacrosse Media Poll, while ranking No. 13 by US Lacrosse Magazine.
Navy enters the week with a 13-3 overall record and 7-1 in the Patriot League. The Midshipmen conclude the regular season with a game on Thursday, April 25 at Boston University. With a win, the Mids would secure the No. 2 seed in the Patriot League Tournament and a first-round bye. With a Terrier win, Navy would be the No. 3 seed and host a PL Quarterfinal game on Sunday, April 28.
