Tipping Off
• A victory by the Mids Wednesday would give Navy its first regular season series sweep of Bucknell since 2010. A win by the Bison would result in the teams splitting the series for the second-straight year and the 12th time overall.
• Each team made 18 field goals in the first meeting of the season, but the Mids held a 20-15 edge in made free throws.
•
Cam Davis posted 20 points to lead Navy that night and John Meeks recorded 18 points to pace Bucknell.
• Davis saw his run of consecutive games with scoring at least 10 points come to an end after 13 games with a nine-point outing Saturday at Colgate. He averaged 18.7 points a game during that span.
•
Evan Wieck needs one more start to move into a tie for 10th place in Navy history (starts have been tracked with the 1981-82 season). He enters Wednesday with 95 career starts and also stands in 14th place for career games played with 115.
• Navy will be back home Saturday at 4 p.m. when the Mids play host to Boston U.
