CENTER VALLEY, Pa. –– The Navy men's basketball team placed a program-best eight members of its team onto the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll for the sport that was announced Monday by the league office. A total of 95 student-athletes for the sport from the league's 10 teams who qualified for the laurel.
A minimum grade-point average of 3.20 for the 2020 spring term was required to be placed onto the team.
Included among Navy's eight honorees were rising seniors
Alec Loehr (Inver Grove Heights, Minn.) and
Luke Loehr (Inver Grove Heights, Minn.) and rising sophomore P.J. Roach (Virginia Beach, Va.), each of whom attained a 4.00 GPA for the grading period. The trio was among the 13 league players from the sport who posted a 4.00 GPA this spring.
This year marks Navy's most Patriot League Academic Honor Roll recipients in a single season. A previous-best five Mids earned the honor in both 2018 and '19.
