ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The Navy women's lacrosse team remained ranked in all three national polls, moving up one spot in each poll. The Midshipmen are ranked #17 according to the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA), while coming in at #12 per the Inside Lacrosse media poll and #16 per the US Lacrosse Magazine poll.
The Navy women's lacrosse team has been ranked nationally for 44 consecutive weeks according to the IWLCA, dating back to the final poll of the 2017 season.
Last season, the Midshipmen began the year ranked in all three national polls. The Mids rose to as high as #15 according to the IWLCA and #13 per Inside Lacrosse. When the season was abruptly cut short due to the coronavirus (COVID-19), Navy was ranked #21 according to the IWLCA.
