ANNAPOLIS, Md. - After another week of standout performances Jennifer Coleman of the Navy women's basketball team was selected as the NAAA Co-Athlete of the Week presented by Northrop Grumman. The senior guard shares this week's honor with Katie Halbert of the Mids' track & field team, who broke three school records over the weekend.

Coleman continued her record-breaking senior campaign as she averaged a double-double with 24.0 points and 10.5 rebounds per game in a pair of contests for Navy. In Wednesday's road tilt at Lehigh, she netted 26 points to go along with 11 rebounds and seven assists, while shooting 46% from the field. Coleman rounded out her week with 22 points, 10 rebounds and 3 assists as Navy came from behind to beat its rival Army, 61-60 in a nationally-televised game on CBS Sports Network. She now has 13 double-doubles and 16 20-plus point outings over 18 games this season. 

Nationally, Coleman ranks third in double-doubles, fourth in points per game (23.6 ppg), ninth in minutes per game (37.6), 10th in defensive rebounds per game (8.2), 17th in steals per game (2.9) and 23rd in total rebounds per game (10.6). After netting the 1,000th point of her career on Jan. 8 against Lafayette to become the 22nd player in Navy women's basketball history to reach that mark, the Richmond native has shot up the all-time rankings and currently sits 18th with 1,103 career points. Coleman is five points out of 17th place and 12 out of 16th.

Coleman and her Navy teammates will be back in action this evening with a home contest against Bucknell. Tip-off between the Mids and Bison is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Alumni Hall in Annapolis.
