The Navy men's basketball team will play its lone home game in the month of December Sunday when the Mids (6-4) play host to Washington, Md. (1-6 NCAA DIII) Sunday at noon in Alumni Hall.

Last Game - Navy 71, Towson 69 / OT
• Navy twice held a five-point lead in the first half, but trailed by as many as 10 before going into the locker room down by eight.
• The Mids opened the second half on an 11-2 run to take a 38-37 lead. The teams exchanged the lead four more times in the next few minutes, the last of which occurred when the Tigers opened a 49-42 lead.
• The margin was nine points (54-45) before Navy tied the game at 56-56 with 2:29 left. The Mids took a 60-59 lead with one minute left, but then found themselves trailing, 62-60, with 21 seconds left.
Nate Allison scored on a outback with eight seconds remaining to tie the game, then the Tigers couldn't get a shot off before the clock hit zeros ending regulation.
• Navy took leads of 69-64 (1:41) and 71-66 (0:59) in overtime. Towson made a three-point basket with 42 seconds left (71-69), then the Mids committed a shot clock violation (12.2). The Tigers missed a mid-range jumper from the high post as the buzzer sounded.
• The Mids had more field goals (29-23) and three-point field goals (7-6) while the Tigers were 17-24 from the foul line in contrast to the 6-8 effort by Navy.

Christian Jones made four three-point field goals on his way to scoring 20 points.
Nate Allison was 7-9 from the field in scoring 14 points Both Jones and Allison set career highs for points and for rebounds (7 each).
About Washington (Md.)
• Washington posted a 5-20 record against NCAA Division III competition last season. The Shoremen finished Centennial Conference play with a 2-16 record.
• Not including an 81-53 exhibition game loss to Loyola (Md.), Washington enters Sunday's game with a 1-6 overall record and a 0-3 record against conference foes.
