PRINCETON, N.J. – The Navy track and field team registered five top-10 performances in program history at the Princeton Elite Invitational at Weaver Stadium in Princeton, N.J. On the men's side, Navy posted four top-10 performances, while the women's team posted one top-10 mark.
Brahmir Vick (Middletown, Del.) highlighted the top-10 performances as the sophomore clocked a school-record time of 13.75 (0.7) in the 110m hurdles, besting the previous record by 0.02 seconds.
Sean Casey (Vienna, Va.) and Ian Bartlett (Fairfield, Conn.) posted the third and ninth performances in program history int eh 800m run. Casey clocked a time of 1:48.67, while Bartlett posted a time of 1:49.13. Miguel Mathias (Nekoosa, Wisc.) clocked a time of 13:57.10 in the 5,000m run, which is the fourth-best in Navy history.
In the women's triple jump,
Sami Bollinger (Temecula, Calif.) posted a distance of 12.15m (39-10.50) to finish second in the event. The distance was the sixth-best in program history.
Navy concludes competition in the IC4A / ECAC Outdoor Championships at Walter J. Zable Stadium in Williamsburg, Va. on Sunday, May 15. The Midshipmen completed the first full day of competition on Saturday.
