Scouting Virginia
• Virginia enters the week with a 3-1 record this season. After dropping its opening dual to Northwestern 20-13, the Cavaliers have strung together three straight victories, defeating Queens 44-6, Campbell 18-16 and George Mason 26-6. Jake Keating (157-pounds) leads Virginia's roster with 72 career victories and is ranked 26th nationally.

Navy vs. Virginia Series
• The Mids will put their undefeated record against the Cavaliers on the line on Friday. Navy is 7-0 all-time in the series that dates back to 1951 but has only faced Virginia two times this century. Navy last faced Virginia at the Virginia Duals in 2009, which was a 20-15 Navy victory.

Scouting Kent State
• The Golden Flashes enter the Virginia Duals winless with an 0-2 record on the season. Kent State opened its dual season with a 32-9 defeat to Ohio State and then suffered an 18-15 loss to Northern Illinois. Kent State was supposed to face Edinboro on Dec. 23 but the dual was postponed due to weather. Jake Ferri (125-pounds) is the top-ranked wrestler on Kent State's roster, ranked 14th in the nation.
