•   Navy posted a three-set victory over Loyola Wednesday night in the Wesley A. Brown Field House.  The Mids defeated the Greyhounds, 25-16, 25-20, 25-18.

•   The Eagles are coming off of a five-set victory over Colgate Sunday in Washington, D.C.  American handed the Raiders their first league loss of the season, a match that was played two days after AU had lost in five sets at Navy.
•   American has tallied a 7-1 record in home matches this season, an overall mark that includes a 3-0 record in home league matches.
Series History
•   American leads the all-time series with Navy, 53-19-1.  This includes a 27-4 lead in matches played in Washington, D.C.
•   The Eagles also lead the Mids by a 40-5 count in league regular season matches.  American has posted a 20-2 record against Navy in league matches played in Washington, D.C.
•   Six of Navy's wins against American since the Eagles joined the Patriot League in 2001 have come with
Paco Labrador on the sidelines. Â His first victory in the series came in the championship match of the 2018 league tournament. Â

Miller Surpasses 2,500 Career Assists
•    A year ago,
Averi Miller became the ninth Mid during the rally scoring era and 13th Navy setter since 1994 (when statistics became available) to surpass 1,000 career assists.
•   This season, she became the seventh Mid overall and fourth during the rally scoring era to reach 2,000 career helpers.  Miller became the fifth Mid overall and second in the rally scoring era to hand out 2,500 assists when she surpassed the milestone Oct. 18 vs. Loyola.
•   The current senior was limited to just 69 assists as a freshman when Navy played only five matches during the 2020/21 spring COVID season.
