ANNAPOLIS, Md. -- Volleyball's
Jamie Llewellyn received her third-straight Naval Academy Athletic Association (NAAA) Athlete-of-the-Week Award, presented by Northrop Grumman, this week.
Llewellyn was named the MVP of last week's UCSD Invitational as the Mids recorded sweeps of Denver, UC San Diego and San Diego State.
She averaged 3.89 kills (team high), 1.89 digs (third on the team, second outside of the libero) and 0.78 blocks (second on the team) per set and added eight aces (team high). Â Llewellyn posted 13 kills and a .375 hitting percentage with three blocks and two aces against Denver, 12 kills, a .400 hitting percentage, three aces and two blocks against UCSD and 10 kills, three aces and two blocks against San Diego State.
Navy, winners of seven-straight matches, will take an 8-1 record into Friday's Patriot League opener at Loyola. Â The 7 p.m. match can be viewed on ESPN+.
