Five Starting Notes
1 – Lehigh holds a 17-15 advantage over Navy in Patriot League regular season games played in Annapolis and the Mids lead the Mountain Hawks, 20-12, in league regular season games played in Bethlehem. 
2 – The road team has posted a 7-4 record over the last 11 games played in the series.
3 – The only common opponent between the teams this season is Holy Cross.  Navy defeated the Crusaders, 80-70, Jan. 10 in Worcester and the Mountain Hawks lost a 69-66 overtime decision to Holy Cross Jan. 13 in Bethlehem.
4 – Lehigh's Keith Higgins Jr. has scored 47 career points in games played against the Mids.  The current Navy roster has totaled 39 career points in games played against the Mountain Hawks.
5 – Navy and Lehigh rank first and second –– in some order –– in the Patriot League in six statistical categories for the overall season.

Game Information
•    Navy (6-9, 2-2) returns to Alumni Hall to play host to Lehigh (4-11, 1-3) Wednesday at 7 p.m.
•    ESPN+ will provide a video stream of the game.
•    WNAV will carry the game on the radio.

Accessing the USNA
•    Vehicle access to the USNA is limited to those with an approved ID card.  All others must park outside of the USNA.
•    Fans can park ($10 / vehicle) at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium (550 Taylor Ave., Annapolis, MD, 21401) and ride the free shuttle bus. 
•    The shuttle bus service begins one hour prior to the start of the game and ends four hours after the game begins.
•    Fans also can park downtown and walk through the gate one visitors center (52 King George St., Annapolis, MD, 21402).
•    Regardless of how one accesses the USNA, those ages 18 and over must have a government issued photo identification card, such as a driver's license, and visitors ages 17 and under who do not have a valid photo ID must be accompanied by an adult.

Last Game 
•    Lafayette built a 17-point first-half lead that stood up in a 78-62 win by the Leopards over Navy, Saturday in Easton, Pa.
•    The Leopards went on a 16-0 run to take a 32-15 advantage late in the first half.  
•    It was a 10-point game at intermission, then Lafayette took a 52-33 lead with 12 minutes left to play.
•    Navy was able to close to within 58-52 with five minutes remaining, then 61-56 and 64-59.
•    The Leopards quickly regained a 71-59 lead.
•    Lafayette shot 61 percent from the floor in the first half and 57 percent in the second half.  Navy shot 34 percent for the game.
•    Austin Benigni scored 21 points.

About Lehigh
•    Lehigh travels to Annapolis with an overall record of 4-11 and a 1-3 record in Patriot League play.  All three league losses have come by single digits, including a 69-66 overtime loss to Holy Cross Saturday.
•    Lehigh has posted a 1-8 record this season in games decided by single digits.
•    Including among the team's non-league losses were defeats to Penn State, North Carolina, Providence and Boston College.

Navy-Lehigh Series
•    In a series that dates back to the 1910-11 season, Navy holds a 54-35 lead over Lehigh.  This includes a 29-19 lead in games played in Annapolis, but the Mountain Hawks lead the Mids, 17-15, in games played in Alumni Hall.
•    Navy has posted a 35-29 record against Lehigh in league regular season games, but the Mountain Hawks have compiled a 17-15 record against the Mids in league games played in Alumni Hall.
•    Eight of the last 12 games in the series have been decided by single digits.  This includes three of the last four games to be played in Annapolis.
•    The first Navy-Lehigh game took place Jan. 21, 1911, when Navy won a 31-24 game in Annapolis.

On This Date
•    Navy has posted a 19-13 record in games played on Jan. 17.  This includes a 7-5 record in Patriot League games.
•    This will be the second Navy-Lehigh game to be played on Jan. 17 (1983).

Against This State
•    Navy has posted a 387-264 record in games played against opponents located in Pennsylvania.

•    Navy will play host to Army Saturday at 1:30 p.m.  This is not the Star Game between the teams.

Not Getting to the FT Line
•    Navy ranked 343rd nationally during the 2022-23 season with an average of 13.5 free throws attempted a game, and 344th with an average of 9.5 free throws made a game.
•    In 2023-24, the Mids rank 172nd nationally in free throws attempted (19.6) and 169th in free throws made (14.0) per game. Though relatively low nationally, both of those averages lead all Patriot League teams.
•    Compared to their opponents this year, the Mids are +2 in free throws attempted and +4 in free throws made.

Navy Bench Has Been a Strength
•    The Mids have received an average of at least 20 points a game from their bench since the start of the 2020-21 campaign.
•    The Navy reserve players have outscored their foes 368-190 this year.
•    Navy ranks third in the Patriot League and 91st nationally in bench scoring this season.

3-Point Percentage Low in Navy Games
•    Navy ranks 21st nationally in defensive three-point field goal percentage as opponents are shooting 28.6 percent from beyond the arc against the Mids. 
•    Navy ranks 322nd (out of 351 teams) in the country in offensive three-point field goal percentage.  The Mids are making 29.7 percent of their three-point field goal attempts.

Rebounding
•     Navy has been very good over the last number of years at winning the offensive rebound margin.
•    The Mids rank first in the Patriot League and 94th nationally this season with an average of 11.93 offensive rebounds per game.

Second-Chance Points 
•     Navy has scored more second-chance points than its foes in 188 of the 280 games (67.1%) it has played since the start of the 2014-15 season.  
•    The Mids are outscoring foes 180-135 in second-chance points this season.
•     42 of the 121 career points (34.7%) scored by Mike Woods have been second-chance points.
•    Navy has scored on 26 of the 45 (55.8%) career possessions in which Woods has grabbed an offensive rebound.
•    Navy has scored on 26 of the 48 (54.2%) possessions in which Donovan Draper has grabbed an offensive rebound.
•    Draper's offensive rebound average currently ranks among the best by a Mid in a season since it became an official statistics with the 1986-87 season.
