ANNAPOLIS, Md. -- The Navy men's tennis team lost a pair of matches on Saturday as the Mids (15-7) dropped a 7-0 decision at James Madison (5-5) and fell, 5-2, to Drexel (7-3) in Annapolis.

The Mids lost the doubles point to James Madison as the Dukes won a 6-3 match at No. 1 doubles and a 6-4 contest at the No. 3 flight.  JMU then won five straight-set singles matches and one three-set match at No. 4 singes.

Navy and Drexel played three very close doubles matches, with the Dragons posting 7-5 wins at Nos. 1 and 3 doubles to earn the point.  Navy's win was posted by its No. 2 team of Jason Kim and Steve Nguyen as the tandem recorded a 6-4 victory over Alessio Azzalini and Egor Kirakosov.

Sasha Panyan tied the team score at 1-1 with his 6-3, 6-2 win over Alan Jesudason at No. 1 singles.  The Dragons won the next four matches to finish to secure the win.  Navy's additional point was tallied by Nguyen with his 7-5, 6-4 victory at No. 4 singles against Azzalini.

Navy will be home for matches Friday against NJIT and Temple as part of a three-day, six-match weekend.
