ANNAPOLIS, Md. – Navy senior standouts Annie Taylor, Ellie Abraham and McKenna Brophy earned 2023-24 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Women's Track & Field / Cross Country Academic All-America honors as announced by the CSC on Tuesday. Taylor garnered first-team recognition, while Abraham and Brophy earned second-team nods. With the three awards, the Midshipmen now boast four Academic All-Americans for the 2023-24 academic year.

Abraham, a history major, finished her Navy career with a 3.81 GPA. During the season, she won the 3,000m steeplechase at the Patriot League Outdoor Championships for the third-straight year by breaking the meet and Navy record with a time of 10:10.03.
An ocean engineering major, Brophy finished the year with a near perfect 3.97 GPA. Brophy was part of the 4x800m relay quartet that placed second at the Patriot League Outdoor Championships this past May.
