Television Schedules Set for 2025-26 Navy Basketball Seasons

ANNAPOLIS, Md. -- The Navy men's and women's basketball teams are prominently featured on the CBS Sports Network television schedule for the sport announced earlier today by the network.  There will be 20 Patriot League games aired by the network this season, with the Navy teams accounting for a minimum of seven of those telecasts.

The Navy men's team is scheduled to be on the CBS Sports Network a minimum of five times during the regular season: Nov. 7 against Yale (8:30 p.m.) as part of the Veterans Classic doubleheader, Jan. 12 at American (7 p.m.), Feb. 9 at Bucknell (6 p.m.) and both games against Army (Jan. 24 in Annapolis and Feb. 21 at West Point, both starting at 1:30 p.m.).  The latter game against the Black Knights will serve as this year's Star Game.

Navy's Feb. 28 home game against Colgate also could be chosen to be televised by the network.  A decision on that will be made closer to the game as part of the league's flex package.  Additionally, the Patriot League Tournament semifinal and championship games will once again be aired by the CBS Sports Network.

Navy previously played five regular season games on the network during the 2020-21 and 2021-22 campaigns.  Including postseason games, the Mids were on the CBS Sports Network seven times during the 2021-22 season and five times during the 2016-27, 2018-19 and 2024-25 seasons.

The Mids have appeared on the network 70 times since its inception as College Sports Television (CSTV) in 2004-05.

Navy's Veterans Day game at Penn State (6:30 p.m.) will be aired on the Big Ten Network in what will be the second time (Nov. 27, 2020, at Maryland) in which the Mids appear on the network since it was launched in the fall of 2007.  Additionally, the team's Nov. 18 game at North Carolina (7 p.m.) will be carried by the ACC Network.  Navy's two previous appearances on the network –– which began during the fall of 2019 –– were during the 2021-22 season when the Mids won a 66-58 game at Virginia and played at Louisville.

The Navy women's team will have both of its games against Army aired on the CBS Sports Network.  The Jan. 24 game in Annapolis and the Feb. 21 Star Game in West Point will each tip at 11 a.m.  The March 15 Patriot League Tournament championship game also will be televised by the network.

The Mids enter the season having played 30 games on the CBS Sports Network, with Army being the opponent in 25 of those tilts.

The remainder of Navy's men's and women's home games will be streamed via ESPN+, with various other outlets carrying Navy's road games.  Check NavySports.com for a complete schedule.

The Navy teams each placed first in the Patriot League Preseason Poll, with Austin Benigni and Zanai Barnett-Gay being selected as the league's preseason players of the year.
