•   Colgate enters the week with an overall record of 11-16.  The Raiders have compiled a 7-3 record in home games.

Series History
•   The teams first met Dec. 29, 1950, in Raleigh, N.C.  Colgate won a 63-59 decision that day.  It would be the first of only four games played between the teams prior to each becoming members of the Patriot League.

A Look Back (Navy 61-54)
•   There was scant separation of the teams until Army took a 41-34 lead four minutes into the second half.
•   Navy answered with a 15-0 run to take a 49-41 lead with eight minutes still to play.
•   Back came the Black Knights to take a 52-51 lead, but the Mids scored the next four points to hold a 55-52 advantage with 2:33 left.
•   Army cut the margin down to 55-54 with 61 seconds remaining. Â
Donovan Draper swooped in for an offensive rebounded after a missed foul shot, and he was fouled. Â Draper made both free throws to make the score 57-54 with 48 seconds left. Â
•   Army's offense was one shot and done as
Austin Benigni grabbed a defensive board with 14 seconds left. He was fouled and made both attempts to stretch the lead to 59-54.
•   Navy was 16-25 from the foul line in the game and Army was 10-13.
•   The Mids held a 40-31 lead on the glass, including a 15-9 edge in offensive boards.  That allowed Navy to have a 19-3 advantage in second-chance points.

Austin Benigni became the 27th Mid to score 1,000 career points during Navy's Jan. 18 game at Bucknell.
•   Benigni is in 24th place for the most career points by a Mid with 1,164. Â
Pennick on a Good Run
•  Â
Jordan Pennick has scored in double figures in six of Navy's seven Patriot League wins and two times in Navy's seven league losses.
•   Pennick totaled a career-high 20 points in Navy's Jan. 26 game at Army.  He was 4-6 from three-point range and 5-8 from the floor in scoring 15 second-half points.Â
•   He scored all 17 of his points in the second half Jan. 29 at Lehigh.  Pennick was 5-7 from three-point range and 6-8 from the floor in the second half.
•   Pennick scored 12 points Feb. 5 at Boston U. and then 14 points Feb. 8 at Lafayette.
•   He also tallied 17 points and five rebounds Feb. 15 against Army.
•   He is averaging 13.8 points (110 total) and 4.1 rebounds a game (33) over the last eight games.  Pennick is shooting 41.5 percent (39-94) from the floor and 35.1 percent (20-57) from three-point land in this span.
DeChellis On Top Spot for Navy Coaches

Ed DeChellis set the school record for the most games as a Navy head coach Feb. 12. Â The Lehigh game was his 418th on the sideline, which is one more than Ben Carnevale's 20-year total.
•   Navy's Jan. 2 win over American moved
Ed DeChellis into third place for the most wins as a Navy head coach.
•   DeChellis coached in his 29th Army-Navy game on Feb. 15.  That tied him with Navy's Don DeVoe for the most games as a head coach from either school in the series.
•   DeChellis has posted a 9-5 record in Star Games.
Davis Leads Patriot League Coaches
•   Navy assistant coach
Emmett Davis is in his 30th   season as a Patriot League coach. That leads all men's basketball coaches for the most Patriot League seasons in a career.
•   Davis also coached at Navy for five seasons (1987-91)
   prior to the Mids joining the Patriot League.
•   The Patriot League is in its 35th season of sponsoring men's basketball (began 1990-91).
•   Davis also ranks third among active assistant coaches for the most years as an assistant at one school.
•   Wednesday's game will be the 63rd Navy-Colgate game in which Davis has been on the sidelines.

•   Navy has been very good over the last number of years at winning the offensive rebound margin.

Austin Benigni saw his streak of 26 games with scoring in double figures come to an end when he scored eight points in 18 minutes of playing time Nov. 25 against Washington (Md.). Â
