ANNAPOLIS, Md. -- Five players won a pair of matches as the Navy men's tennis team (12-7) posted a 7-0 victory over Morgan State (0-7), Tuesday afternoon at the Tose Family Tennis Center in Annapolis.

The Mids swept the three doubles matches and won all six singles matches in straight sets.

Luke Garner teamed with Jake Young for a 6-3 victory at No. 1 doubles over Makkijah Brown and Reda Ghettas.  Garner then posted a 6-3, 7-6 (7-4) win at No. 3 singles over Majdi Abdelwahed and Young defeated Yessine Kerouat, 6-3, 7-5, at No. 2 singles.

Herrick Legaspi and Tommy Kim formed Navy's No. 2 doubles team.  The tandem registered a 6-2 win over Abdelwahed and Kerouat.  Legaspi went on to top Brown, 6-0, 6-1, at No. 1 singles.

Navy's No. 3 team of J.J. Etterbeek and Jason Kim combined for a 6-2 victory over Bertin Karenzi and Anthony Parris.  Etterbeek then defeated Karenzi, 6-2, 6-3, at No. 4 singles.

Also winning singles matches for the Mids were George Cutone at No. 5 and Jason Kim and No. 6.  Cutone won a 6-2, 6-2 decision against Ghettas and Kim beat Antonio Santos, 6-1, 6-1.

Navy will play host to Monmouth (9:30 a.m.) and Drexel (1 p.m.) on Friday.
