Heading north for their penultimate match of the regular season, the Midshipmen put themselves in front early by sweeping the three doubles matches before notching five straight-set victories in singles action to clinch Navy's sixth road win of the spring.

Doubles play began with freshman Emma Gu and sophomore Manci Pal teaming up for a 6-2 win over the Hawks' top pairing of Victoria Tracey and Gisele Tang, while the rookie pair of Ji Soo Oh and Peyton Amspacher-Philemon defeated Claudia Perez-Garcia and Addison Melfi, 6-3, on the third court to clinch the doubles point.

Rounding out the doubles lineup, senior Kate Lee and sophomore Julia Lee battled out a 7-6 (7-4) tie-breaking victory against Charlotte Kordonowy and Brooke Tackett in the No. 2 position.

Saint Joseph's evened the score briefly when Tracey beat out freshman Grace Li in a 6-2, 6-1 decision on the No. 2 court, but fellow freshman Molly Bellia put the Mids back in front with a 6-1, 6-1 win over Tang in the No. 4 matchup. Kate Lee then put Navy on the edge of clinching with her own 6-1, 6-1 victory against Perez-Garcia at the No. 5 spot, while senior Emily Tannenbaum knocked off Kordonowy in a 6-3, 6-2 battle on the top court to clinch the Mids' 15th win of the season.

Plaing out their matches, senior Parvathi Shanker posted a 6-3, 6-1 victory against Melfi in the No. 3 slot and fellow senior Sylvia Eklund pulled out a 6-2, 6-0 win over Tackett on the No. 6 court.
