ANNAPOLIS, Md. -- The Navy men's tennis team travels to Lewisburg, Pa., this week for the Patriot League Tournament hosted by Bucknell. The Mids (22-14, 8-0 Patriot League), who are the top-seeded team in the event, open play Friday in the quarterfinal round against either Loyola (2-16, 0-7 Patriot League) or Boston U. (0-13, 0-6 Patriot League).

The eighth-seeded Greyhounds and ninth-seeded Terriers will play Thursday at 1 p.m. in the opening round. The two teams did not meet during the 2025 season. The winner of the match advances to Friday's quarterfinal match where it will face the Mids at 9 a.m. Navy posted a 4-0 win over Loyola on April 8 and defeated Boston by the score of 7-0 on March 23.
The winner of that match will face either fourth-seeded Army or fifth-seeded Colgate Saturday at 10 a.m. in the semifinal round. The Black Knights and Raiders will meet for the first time this season Friday at 11 a.m. Navy recorded a 4-0 win at Army Saturday and beat Colgate, 6-1, on March 1.
The other half of the bracket is headlined by second-seed and tournament-host Bucknell. The Bison will play seventh-seeded Lafayette Friday in the quarterfinals, with the winner moving into Saturday's semifinal round against either third-seeded Lehigh or sixth-seeded Holy Cross.
The championship match will be played Sunday at 1 p.m.
Navy has reached the championship match of the tournament in each of the last 12 seasons in which it has been held. The Mids saw their run of five-straight Patriot League Tournament titles end last year with a 4-3 loss to Boston U. Navy's 15 Patriot League titles are the most in the sport.
