BETHLEHEM, Pa. -- The Navy men's tennis trio of Luke Garner, Jake Young and Herrick Legaspi received postseason accolades from the Patriot League today.  Garner and Young were named the league's doubles team of the year while Garner and Legaspi each received first-team all-league laurels.

Garner formed half of the league's top doubles team for the third year in a row.  The senior team captain and the sophomore Young posted a 12-2 record in dual matches as Navy's No. 1 doubles team, which included a 7-0 record in matches against league foes.

In singles, Garner posted a 9-2 record at the No. 3 flight, a 5-1 mark against league opponents and a 12-9 record since the start of the 2025 calendar year.

Legaspi put together an 8-6 record at No. 1 singles and a 7-4 record at No. 2 doubles this spring.  The junior tallied a combined 6-5 record against league opponents in dual matches –– he had five league matches stopped before they were finished –– as well as a 14-7 record in singles and a 13-5 record in doubles this spring.

Garner previously earned second-team all-league recognition in 2023 and Legaspi was a 2024 second-team all-league honoree.  Additionally, this is the seventh year in a row in which a Navy duo has been named the league's doubles team of the year.
