Chung, Daley Garner All-ECAC Accolades

Alyssa Chung and Alyssa Daley were both named All-ECAC with Chung claiming Rookie of the Year honors.

DANBURY, Conn. – The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) announced its 2025 Division I Women's Lacrosse All-ECAC Team and major award winners. Navy's Alyssa Chung (attack) and Alyssa Daley (draw controls) were named to the 14-person team with Chung claiming Rookie of the Year distinction.
 
Loyola attacker Georgia Latch won Offensive Player of the Year, while Avery Hines of Stony Brook won Defensive Player of the Year. Chung from Navy won Rookie of the Year and UMass head coach Jana Drummond won Coach of the Year.
 
Alyssa Chung – Attack
Navy's top attacker on the year, Chung had a team-high 66 goals with 15 assists for 81 total points. The freshman recorded 16 multi-goal performances in her young career (21 games total), including 14 hat tricks. In Patriot League games, Chung led Navy with 49 points (5.44 per game) on a team-best 39 goals (4.33), while adding 10 assists (1.11). She recorded multiple goals in all nine conference games with eight hat tricks. For her efforts, Chung was named Patriot League Rookie of the Week six (6) consecutive times and a conference-record seven times total, while ultimately being named the Patriot League Rookie of the Year.
 
Alyssa Daley – Draw Controls
A draw control specialist, Daley finished the season with a Navy school record 236 draw controls, beating the previous record that she set last season. The senior ranked fourth in the NCAA and first in the Patriot League in draw controls per game, while helping the team rank second the NCAA in draw controls percentage (.633) and draw controls per game (18.10). Daley finished the year with 12 double-digit draw control performances including becoming the first Midshipmen in program history with 20 or more draws, setting the new school record with 21 draws in a game at Lehigh. Daley, who was a two-time First Team All-Patriot League honoree, finished her career with a Navy and Patriot League record 504 draw controls.

ABOUT THE ECAC
The ECAC (Eastern College Athletic Conference) is an eighty-five-year-old organization with well over 200 member schools across all three NCAA Divisions - I, II and III. The ECAC exists to enhance the experience of student-athletes participating in intercollegiate athletics and provides great value for universities and colleges by sponsoring championships, leagues, bowl games, tournaments and other competitions throughout the Northeast. The ECAC also hosts a comprehensive esports program that presently involves 160 schools fielding 1100 teams across 14 different esports games, streamed live four nights a week. The ECAC's esports platform has and continues to expand the geographic footprint of the Conference nationally.
