DiCarlo Named IWLCA Division I Scholar-Athlete of the Year

ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) named its 2025 Scholar-Athletes of the Year, honoring the top student-athlete in the NCAA Division I, II, and III and the NAIA, and Navy's Tori DiCarlo was the Division I recipient for the IWLCA's top academic honor.

DiCarlo is the second Midshipmen in program history to be named IWLCA Scholar-Athlete of the Year, joining Anne Richter ('19) as the team's only honorees.

DiCarlo, a 2025 graduate of the Naval Academy, was an honors oceanography major who boasted a 3.99 GPA. She earned College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District distinction in June, before ultimately earning First Team CSC Academic All-American honors in July.

A Graduate with Distinction, she ranked 11th in her class (of 1,065) in overall order of merit; 11th in academic order of merit; and second in military order merit.

On the field, DiCarlo finished her Midshipmen career with 129 goals and 32 assists for 161 total points in 75 total games. She was the 22nd player in Navy women's lacrosse history to surpass 100 career points and the 16th to record over 100 career goals. In addition, she picked up 45 ground balls and caused 13 turnovers. The Rosemont, Pa. native was a two-time All-Patriot League performer, earning first-team distinction in 2024.
