Keith Puryear announced the addition of four freshmen for the 2025-26 campaign on Tuesday.
A group that was rated as the 11th-best mid-major recruiting class by the Tennis Recruiting Network and each earned a four-star ranking from the service, Puryear and associate head coach
Alessandra Pedergnana will welcome newcomers

Nicole Fu,
Sydney Fuger and
Anna Wiskowski to the team as the Midshipmen prepare to open the fall slate on Sept. 5 at the Bill & Sandra Moore Invitational.
"We are excited to have each of these ladies and their families join the Navy Women's Tennis family," said Puryear. "Our leadership team looks forward to helping them to achieve their goals on the court, in the classroom and in the Hall."
Jina Cha – 5-5 – Falls Church, Va.
Personal: Ranked as a four-star recruit by the Tennis Recruiting Network … Ranked No. 88 in the national class of 2025 and No. 2 in the state of Virginia … Spent ten years at the OSSA Tennis Academy … Played freshman year for the girls tennis team at West Springfield High School, winning team MVP honors and serving as a team captain … Spent first two years of high school at West Springfield, transferred to the online Laurel Springs School for one year and then spent senior year enrolled in the online ICL Academy … Active member of Key Club (volunteer club) at West Springfield … Daughter of Song Hye Cha.
Nicole Fu – 5-9 – Rochester Hills, Mich.
Personal: Ranked as a four-star recruit by the Tennis Recruiting Network … Ranked No. 83 in the national class of 2025 and No. 3 in the state of Michigan … Played four years of tennis at Rochester Adams High School … Named Michigan's 2025 Miss Tennis as a senior … Crowned the MHSAA Division 1 Individual State Champion as a senior, finishing as a Division 1 Individual State Finalist as a freshman, sophomore and junior … Earned MHSAA all-state honors four times … Claimed the individual regional championship in each of her four years … Named the High School Sports Awards Tennis Player of the Year in 2025 … Named a MHSAA Scholar-Athlete all four years at Rochester Adams … Earned team MVP honors four times and served as team captain during junior and senior years … Played eight years of junior tennis at the Bloomfield Tennis and Fitness club … Competed in Tae Kwon Do for five years, earning a second-degree black belt … Earned the Presidential Volunteer Service Award three times … AP Capstone Scholar … Daughter of Kevin Fu and Janet You.

Personal: Ranked as a four-star recruit by the Tennis Recruiting Network … Played four years of tennis at North Kansas City High School … Holds the Missouri state records for most combined wins in a season and most combined wins in a career … Won four individual singles district championships … Four-time all-state and all-conference selection … Served as a team captain all four years and earned team MVP honors four times … Helped North Kansas City win the conference team championship as a junior, then led North Kansas City to the district team championship as a senior … Spent 12 years of junior tennis at the Clayview Country Club … Co-founder of the Girls in STEM club at North Kansas City High School … Daughter of Ryan Fuger and Amy Hatch … Mother played tennis at Dartmouth for two seasons … Father played basketball and soccer at Briarcliff College.
Anna Wiskowski – 5-5 – Hinsdale, Ill.
