BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The strong senior campaign of Navy women's soccer's Marlee Heaven continued over the weekend and standout forward was recognized on Monday as the Patriot League Offensive Player of the Week. She was noted for her efforts versus Maryland and Sacred Heart.

The senior from nearby Rockville, Maryland registered goals in back-to-back games this past week, first via a penalty kick conversion at Maryland on Thursday and later with an expertly placed free kick from 20 yards out at Sacred Heart on Sunday. Appearing in six games so far this young season for the Mids, Heaven has tallied five goals. She's quickly approaching her single-season high of six goals scored in 2024. Also of note, Heaven's score against Sacred Heart was of the game-winning variety and increases her game-winning goals total of 2025 to four. Nationally, she's tied with Georgia's Summer Denigan for the current NCAA DI lead in GWGs.

This is Heaven's second Patriot League Offensive Player of the Week nod of 2025 as she initially took home the honor on August 18. All-time, she's been selected as the conference top offensive player on four different occasions, August 28, 2023 and Oct. 28, 2024.

Next up for Heaven and the Mids is a road tilt at VCU on Thursday evening. Kickoff in Richmond is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Sports Backers Stadium.
