BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Patriot League announced its weekly cross country awards and Navy student-athlete Juliet Frum was tabbed Rookie of the Week.
 
Competing in her first collegiate race, Frum clocked a time of 22:28.8 to claim individual medalist honors in the 6K race and help Navy to a first-place finish as a team at the Cantello Invitational on Saturday morning at the USNA Golf Course.
 
The freshman won the race by nearly 20 seconds (18.8) over UMBC junior Alexis Tepper (22:47.6).
 
Led by Frum, Navy posted a team-low score of 19 to win the team competition by 36 points.
 
Up next, Navy will head to Columbia, Missouri for the Gans Creek Classic hosted by the University of Missouri on Friday, Sept. 26.
