ANNAPOLIS, Md. --
Aniketh Ayinala,
Jason Kim,
Tommy Kim and
Charlie Spencer will represent the Navy men's tennis team at this weekend's Milwaukee Tennis Classic. The 49th edition of the tournament runs Thursday through Sunday, with the men's half of the draw taking place at Nicolet High School in the northeast suburb of Glendale.
The women's draw, Saturday's mixed doubles draw and all of the Sunday finals will be contested at Western Racquet Club in Elm Grove.
Founded in 1975 with the support of then-Marquette athletic director and men's basketball head coach Al McGuire, the Milwaukee Tennis Classic is the longest running collegiate tennis tournament in the country outside of the NCAA Tournament.
There are 42 singles players and 20 doubles teams entered into this year's men's event. This includes players from DePaul, Illinois-Chicago, Indiana, James Madison, Marquette, Northwestern, Oregon, Purdue, TCU and Wisconsin.
Navy's men's and women's players are annually granted wildcard entries to the prestigious tournament.
Ayinala is the only Mid of the four who has previously competed at the Milwaukee Tennis Classic. He advanced to the consolation quarterfinals in singles in 2024 and also teamed with Emily Tannenbaum to win the mixed doubles title.
Live results from the matches can be found through the iOnCourt app as well as through the tournament web site, MilwaukeeTennisClassic.org.
