ANNAPOLIS, Md. -- The Navy men's tennis team will open its 2026 spring season this weekend with two days of matches. The Mids will begin the season Saturday with matches against St. Bonaventure at 8 a.m. and Saint Francis at 5:30 p.m. at the Tose Family Tennis Center in Annapolis. Navy then will travel to Philadelphia for Sunday matches at Penn at 9 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.

Navy
George Cutone led Navy in singles victories during the fall with a 9-4 record.
Tommy Kim and
Charlie Spencer each finished second on the team in wins with identical 7-6 records.
Lachlan Buckingham paced Navy with a 13-2 record in doubles this fall. A trio of Mids in
Nathan Nguyen (8-5), Spencer (8-7) and
Jason Kim (8-7) ranked second to Buckingham in doubles victories.
The Mids compiled a 24-15 overall record during the 2025 campaign. Navy posted an 8-0 record in the Patriot League's regular season and advanced to the championship match of the league tournament for the 13th year in a row.
St. Bonaventure
The Bonnies ended last season with a 1-18 overall record and a 0-3 mark against Atlantic 10 Conference opponents.
Navy defeated St. Bonaventure by the score of 7-0 in last season's match between the teams.
Saint Francis
The Red Flash compiled a 6-13 overall record and a 2-5 record against Northeast Conference foes last spring. Navy defeated Saint Francis, 7-0, last year in Annapolis.
This is the final year of NCAA Division I competition for the Red Flash as they will join the NCAA Division III level starting with the 2026-27 academic year.
Penn
Penn posted a 21-9 record during the 2024-25 season, which included 6-1 and 7-0 victories over Navy. The Quakers finished Ivy League play with a 3-4 record.
The Penn doubles team of Manfredi Graziani and Aaron Sandler enter the 2026 spring ranked eighth nationally after the pair advanced to the semifinals of the 2025 NCAA Championship held in November. Graziani additionally is ranked 41st in singles.
Sunday's matches will be held at the Hecht Tennis Center.
