The day began with Navy's win over Longwood.

The Lancers claimed wins at both Nos. 2 and 3 doubles to take the early 1-0 lead.  In singles, J.J. Etterbeek won a shortened match when his No. 4 opponent, Alejandro Uribe, had to retire with Etterbeek leading 3-2 in the first set.  That tied the match at 1-1.

Herriek Legaspi then won a very close match over Daniel Borisov at No. 1 singles, with Legaspi winning 7-5, 7-6 (9-7) to give Navy a 3-2 lead.  Jason Kim earned the match-clinching fourth team point when he defeated Petter Lindquist, 2-6, 6-4, 7-6 (7-3) at No. 6 singles.

Tommy Kim closed play with a 6-7 (5-7), 7-5, 1-0 (10-6) victory at No. 5 singles over Daniel Lopez.

Navy then fell in its match to the Bears.  The Mids started the dual by winning all three doubles matches.  Jason Kim and Herrick Legaspi posted a 7-5 win at No. 1, Tommy Kim and Jake Young tallied a 6-3 win at No. 2 and the team of George Cutone and Etterbeek won its No. 3 match by the score of 6-3.

Ayinala made the score 2-0 when his opponent retired while trailing by the score of 4-2 in the first set.  After Morgan State won at No. 3 singles, Ethan Garcia would win his match at the No. 5 flight, 6-2, 6-2, to make the score 3-1.  The Bears won the remaining three matches in straight sets to record the victory.
