ANNAPOLIS, Md. – Junior Dylan Cashin of the Navy triathlon team became the first Midshipman in program history to be named to the Collegiate Triathlon Coaches Association (CTCA) Division I All-East Region Team, the CTCA announced today.
 
All-East Region honors are awarded to the top seven finishers in each division (I, II, III) at the NCAA regional races.
 
Cashin paced Navy to a program-best third-place finish at the NCAA East Regional Qualifier last weekend. The Amagansett, New York, native clocked a time of 1:05:29 to take 11th place overall, marking the best individual placement by a Midshipman in program history at the NCAA event.
 
Up next, Cashin and six other Mids will prepare for the Collegiate Triathlon National Championship in Tempe, Arizona, on Sunday, Nov. 8.
