Weekend Sweep
Navy enters Sunday's race with heavy momentum after capturing back-to-back titles two weeks ago.
The Midshipmen scored 485 points to edge hometown Duquesne and win the 13-team Beaver County Collegiate Cup in Pennsylvania. Junior
Natalie Wang paced the team with a third-place finish, followed closely by freshman
Allison Heine in fourth.
Navy completed the sweep the next day at the six-team Robious Landing Collegiate Cup in Virginia. Wang finished as the overall runner-up in 57:49, and the team's depth shined with five athletes placing in the top 10. The consecutive victories marked a major milestone for a program that had only one collegiate cup win prior to the weekend.
