Garthwaite Stadium in Conshohocken, Pa. The game, which is set for 4:00 p.m., will be

All-Time Series
Navy leads the all-time series between the two teams, 9-0. The Midshipmen are 5-0 against the Griffins at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium and 4-0 in Conshohocken. Last season, Navy posted a 28-17 victory over Chestnut Hill at home. The last time the two teams met in Conshohocken, the Mids topped the Griffins, 17-10, in 2024.
Scouting the Midshipmen
Navy sprint football holds a 1-1 record through its first two games of the 2026 season. Navy has averaged 326.0 total offensive yards per game while limiting opponents to 218.5 yards per game.
Quarterback
Luke O'Connell leads the passing attack, completing 32 of 50 passes for 402 yards with four touchdowns. Wide receiver
Andrew Daly leads the team with 126 receiving yards on seven catches (including a 63-yard touchdown), while
Ibi Denson has caught a team-high eight passes for 113 yards and a pair of TDs. On the ground,
Hunter Gennicks leads the rushing effort with 135 yards and one touchdown.
Defensively, Navy has restricted opposing ground games to 122 total rushing yards at an average of 1.7 yards per rush while generating five sacks. Linebacker
Sam Stotler leads the team with 18 tackles, supported by
Christian Conley with 16 tackles,
Tucker Opdahl with 14, and
Drake Murrell with a team-high 4.5 tackles for loss.
Scouting the Opponent
Chestnut Hill College is off to an undefeated 2-0 start in the 2026 season, securing victories over Molloy (W, 17-7) and Cornell (W, 16-7). The Griffins have outscored their opponents 33-14 while outgaining them 564 to 331 in total offensive yards, averaging 282.0 yards per game compared to 165.5 allowed.
The offense relies heavily on running back Xavier Limehouse, who has rushed for 236 yards and three touchdowns on 47 carries (5.0 yards per carry), averaging 118.0 rushing yards per game. Quarterback Griffin Walter anchors the passing game, completing 20 of 31 pass attempts (64.5%) for 242 yards, a touchdown, and an interception. Walter's top targets include Tzion Allen with a team-high six receptions for 68 yards and Ronnell Wheeler with 65 yards on three catches.
Chestnut Hill's defense has been stout, holding opponents to just 7.0 points per game, 86.0 rushing yards per game, and a 34.8% completion rate. Defensive leader Amir Jenkins paces the team with 13 tackles (2.0 TFL), followed by Riley Stidham with 10 tackles (3.0 TFL) and two fumble recoveries, while Andre Cancellare has broken up four passes and logged an interception.

ANNAPOLIS, Md. – Navy relied on its running game and a solid second-half defensive performance to post a 28-17 victory over Chestnut Hill at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium. Running back
Hunter Gennicks rushed for 276 of the Midshipmen's 313 rushing yards, while the defense posted a second-half shutout, forcing four turnovers in the final two quarters.
Gennicks rushed for a career-high 276 yards, finishing just 15 yards shy of the all-time record for yards in a game of 291 set by David Williams against Army on Nov. 4, 2011. The junior running back finished with three rushing touchdowns, finding the end zone on 16-, 2-, and 72-yard runs. In addition, Gennicks caught a pass for five yards for his fourth touchdown of the game.
Broderick Freeman added 38 yards on the ground, while
Luke O'Connell added a five-yard rush.
The Navy defense finished the game with five takeaways, including four in the second half. The Midshipmen recovered four fumbles and intercepted a pass.
Jake Wolinski led the team with 13 tackles with a tackle for loss, a fumble recovery, a pass breakup, and a quarterback hurry.
Mick Tabor, who notched eight tackles, led the team with 2.5 tackles for loss, a sack, and two fumble recoveries.
Christian Conley added a sack and a forced fumble, finishing with nine total tackles.

Owen Erker forced fumbles with
Jensen Boyt recovering a fumble.
Jake Frazier intercepted a Chestnut Hill pass, returning it for 28 yards. It was the first INT surrendered by the Griffins this season.
