A Look Back

Aidan Kehoe led or shared the Navy lead in points (26), rebounds (12), assists (5), steals (3) and blocks (2) in a 76-60 win by the Mids over Bucknell Monday night.
• Navy used a 10-3 run to take an 18-11 lead. The Bison closed to within 27-21 before the Mids took a 35-24 lead at the break.
• Navy quickly took a 42-26 lead in the early stages of the second half only to see Bucknell make it a 42-35 lead.
• The Mids responded by taking leads of 48-35, 53-37 and 60-41 with just under eight minutes left.
• Navy shot 53.8 percent from the field after halftime and limited Bucknell to a 36.5 percent shooting effort for the game.

Colgate Preview
• Colgate has produced an overall record of 16-10 and a home record of 7-3.
• The Raiders have tallied a 10-3 record in Patriot League games, which includes a 5-1 mark at home.
• Colgate's three Patriot League losses have come by a total of six points: one point to Lehigh at home, four points at American and one point at Lehigh in overtime.
• The Raiders won a 74-70 decision at Holy Cross Wednesday to run their winning streak to three games.
Series History
• Navy and Colgate first met on Dec. 29, 1950, in what was the first of four games between the teams prior to both becoming members of the Patriot League starting with the 1991-92 season
• The Raiders hold a 49-30 advantage in the overall series with the Mids. This includes a 28-12 lead in games played in Hamilton.
• Colgate also is in front of the Mids, 41-25, in league regular season games. That mark features a 22-11 lead for the Raiders at home.

11th 20-Win Season
• Navy's Feb. 9 win at Bucknell was the team's 20th of the season. It is the 11th 20-win campaign in program history.
Tied for Most PL Wins
• Navy has already tied the school record for the most Patriot League regular season wins since the league went to an 18-game season starting with the 2013-14 season (not including 2020-21).
• The 2021-22 team also won 12 league games.
Four Patriot League Player-of-the-Week Nods
• Navy has received a four Patriot League Player-of-the-Week accolades this season.

Austin Benigni earned the award on Dec. 8 after he averaged 18.5 points, 6.0 rebounds and 4.5 assists in Navy's wins over Delaware State and Air Force.

Aidan Kehoe garnered his first career weekly award on Dec. 22 after he averaged 15.5 points and 11.0 rebounds a game in wins over Coppin State and Rosemont College.
• Benigni was tabbed for his second nod of the season and sixth of his career on Jan. 5 following a week that saw him average 25.0 points, 6.5 assists and 4.0 rebounds a game in wins over Boston and Holy Cross.
• Kehoe received his second laurel on Feb. 9. He led Navy in points (38), rebounds (25) and assists (11) and shot 83.3 percent (15-18) from the floor in Navy's wins over Lafayette and American the previous week. Kehoe totaled 16 points, 15 rebounds and 7 assists against the Leopards, then 22 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists against the Eagles.
Mids Well Ahead in Points in the Paint
• Navy has scored more points in the paint in 11 of its 13 Patriot League games this season. The Mids are averaging 10 more paint points a game than their foes.
