•    Current Navy players have totaled 205 points in 29 games against the Raiders.  Current Colgate players have totaled 122 points in 19 games against the Mids.
•    Austin Benigni leads Navy with 79 points against the Raiders (6 games) and Brady Cummins has scored a Colgate-high 42 points against the Mids (4 games).

A Look Back
•    Aidan Kehoe led or shared the Navy lead in points (26), rebounds (12), assists (5), steals (3) and blocks (2) in a 76-60 win by the Mids over Bucknell Monday night.
•    Navy used a 10-3 run to take an 18-11 lead.  The Bison closed to within 27-21 before the Mids took a 35-24 lead at the break.
•    Navy quickly took a 42-26 lead in the early stages of the second half only to see Bucknell make it a 42-35 lead.  
•    The Mids responded by taking leads of 48-35, 53-37 and 60-41 with just under eight minutes left.
•    Navy shot 53.8 percent from the field after halftime and limited Bucknell to a 36.5 percent shooting effort for the  game.
•    The Mids held advantages of 45-28 on the glass, 17-9 in second-chance points and 17-0 in fast break points.
•    Besides Kehoe's effort, Donovan Draper just missed a double-double with 14 points and nine rebounds while Jinwoo Kim scored 18 points.

Colgate Preview
•    Colgate has produced an overall record of 16-10 and a home record of 7-3.
•    The Raiders have tallied a 10-3 record in Patriot League games, which includes a 5-1 mark at home.
•    Colgate's three Patriot League losses have come by a total of six points: one point to Lehigh at home, four points at American and one point at Lehigh in overtime.
•    The Raiders won a 74-70 decision at Holy Cross Wednesday to run their winning streak to three games.

Series History
•    Navy and Colgate first met on Dec. 29, 1950, in what was the first of four games between the teams prior to both becoming members of the Patriot League starting with the 1991-92 season
•    The Raiders hold a 49-30 advantage in the overall series with the Mids.  This includes a 28-12 lead in games played in Hamilton.
•    Colgate also is in front of the Mids, 41-25, in league regular season games.  That mark features a 22-11 lead for the Raiders at home.

A Look Ahead
•    Navy plays its only home game in a span of five games Wednesday when the Mids play host to Lehigh.

On This Date
•    Navy has posted an overall record of 17-17 and a Patriot League record of 5-5 in games played on Feb. 14.
•    Navy has compiled a 3-0 record against Colgate in games played on Feb. 14 (1996, 2000, 2015).

Navy-Colgate on the Airways
•    Saturday's game will be the seventh Navy-Colgate game to be aired by the CBS Sports Network since its founding as CSTV (College Sports Television) in 2004-05.
•    The game will be Navy's 75th on the network since its inception as CSTV.  Game No. 76 will be Feb. 21 at Army.

•    Navy has been credited with 223 assists on its 352 made field goals during the Patriot League season.  That's an assist percentage of 63.4 percent, which leads the league and is one of the best in Navy history.

11th 20-Win Season
•    Navy's Feb. 9 win at Bucknell was the team's 20th of the season.  It is the 11th 20-win campaign in program history.

Tied for Most PL Wins
•    Navy has already tied the school record for the most Patriot League regular season wins since the league went to an 18-game season starting with the 2013-14 season (not including 2020-21).
•    The 2021-22 team also won 12 league games.

Four Patriot League Player-of-the-Week Nods 
•    Navy has received a four Patriot League Player-of-the-Week accolades this season.
•    Austin Benigni earned the award on Dec. 8 after he averaged 18.5 points, 6.0 rebounds and 4.5 assists in Navy's wins over Delaware State and Air Force.
•    Aidan Kehoe garnered his first career weekly award on Dec. 22 after he averaged 15.5 points and 11.0 rebounds a game in wins over Coppin State and Rosemont College.
•    Benigni was tabbed for his second nod of the season and sixth of his career on Jan. 5 following a week that saw him average 25.0 points, 6.5 assists and 4.0 rebounds a game in wins over Boston and Holy Cross.
•    Kehoe received his second laurel on Feb. 9.  He led Navy in points (38), rebounds (25) and assists (11) and shot 83.3 percent (15-18) from the floor in Navy's wins over Lafayette and American the previous week.  Kehoe  totaled 16 points, 15 rebounds and 7 assists against the Leopards, then 22 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists against the Eagles.

Mids Well Ahead in Points in the Paint
•    Navy has scored more points in the paint in 11 of its 13 Patriot League games this season.  The Mids are averaging 10 more paint points a game than their foes.

Navy Good Again on the Offensive Boards
•    Navy has been very good over the last number of years at winning the offensive rebound margin.
•    The Mids are +1,092 in offensive rebounding margin over the last 12 seasons.
•    Navy has regularly turned those second-chance opportunities into points. 
•    The Mids are +1,026 in second-chance points over the last 12 years.
•    Aidan Kehoe had 15 second-chance points in Navy's double overtime win at Lehigh on Jan. 17 and 12 in Navy's Feb. 9 game at Bucknell.

Benigni Surpasses 1,700 Points
•    Austin Benigni became the 27th Mid to score 1,000 career points during Navy's Jan. 18, 2025, game at Bucknell.
•    He reached the milestone in his 81st career game  (12th fewest games needed to score 1,000 points).
•    He then reached the 1,500-point plateau during Navy's Dec. 19, 2025, game against Coppin State, surpassed 1,600 points Jan 10 against Lafayette and scored his 1,700th point Jan. 24 against Army
•    Benigni ranks among the Navy scoring leaders for both all games (fourth / 1,771) and Patriot League (first / 977) games.
•    Benigni stands in 16th place in Patriot League history in career points.
•    Benigni is in third place at Navy with 86 games of scoring in double figures and fourth place with 38 career games with 20 or more points.

•    Kehoe was 10-10 from the floor in Navy's Jan. 10 game against Lafayette.  That effort immediately followed the Jan. 7 game in which he was 8-9 from the floor against Bucknell.
