Women's Lacrosse Rises to #10 in All Three Polls

Navy is #10 according to the IWLCA, Inside Lacrosse, and USA Lacrosse.

ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The Navy women's lacrosse team returned to the top 10 in all three national polls, coming in 10th in the Week 3 rankings according to the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Division I Coaches Poll, the Inside Lacrosse KANE Women's Division I Media Poll, and the USA Lacrosse poll.
 
The Midshipmen have been ranked in the top 10 according to the IWLCA ten (10) times, including the first weekly poll of the season (Feb. 9, 2026), which was the first time in the top 10 since the final poll of the 2018 season (ranked 6th on May 29, 2018).
 
The Midshipmen began the season 16th in the preseason polls according to the IWLCA and the Inside Lacrosse, while opening the year at #14 in the USA Lacrosse preseason poll.
 
In its history, Navy has been ranked 111 total weeks, including a stretch of 46 weeks from the final poll of 2017 (May 30) to April 5, 2021. The Mids' first appearance in the national rankings came on March 11, 2013, coming in at #20. The Midshipmen's highest ranking – sixth – came in the final polls of the 2017 and 2018 seasons.
 
Last season, the Midshipmen were in the top 25 poll for 14 weeks, rising as high as #16 and finishing the year 18th.
 
Up next, Navy will take on #7 / #7 Florida in a nationally televised game on CBS Sports Network on Saturday, Feb. 28 at 9:30 a.m.
