BOSTON, Mass. -- Navy's Jon Perry has been selected as a finalist for the CollegeInsider.com Joe B. Hall Award, which has been presented annually since 2012 to the top first-year head coach in NCAA Division I men's basketball.

Perry, who was named the 2026 Patriot League Coach of the Year, has guided the Mids to a 25-6 overall record and to a 17-1 mark in Patriot League play.  The top-seeded Mids won the outright Patriot League regular season title this year for the first time since 1997.  

The 25 victories places him fourth for the most by a first-year head coach this season.

Navy will play host to Bucknell tonight (Thursday) at 7 p.m. in the quarterfinal round of the Patriot League Tournament.
