The game will be the sixth morning game that Navy will play this season. The Midshipmen are 4-1 in morning games this season and 17-3 all-time when starting before noon.

The game marks the 22nd meeting between the two teams and the 12th competition in Hamilton, N.Y. Navy holds a 17-4 (.810) overall record against Colgate with a 7-1 mark at home, an 8-3 record on the road, and a 2-0 tally in neutral site games.
After starting the series 0-3, Navy has posted victories against Colgate in 17 of the last 18 games, including 10 consecutive wins against the Raiders.
The Midshipmen defense has held the Colgate offense to 10 or fewer goals in 16 games, notching a 14-2 (.875) record in those games. The Midshipmen have limited the Raiders to 10 or fewer goals in six straight contests.

Scouting the Midshipmen
The Navy women's lacrosse team enters the weekend 14-1 on the season, including a 6-1 mark in the Patriot League. The Midshipmen have held nine (9) opponents this season to single digits, including six conference foes.
As a team, the Midshipmen have tallied 230 goals with 115 assists, while picking up 282 ground balls, winning 210 draw controls, and causing 137 turnovers.

Chung paces the team with 79 points on a team-high 53 goals with a team-best 26 assists to her credit. The sophomore has registered 28 multi-goal games (36 games total) with 23 hat tricks, including multiple scores in all 16 regular-season Patriot League games played with 13 hat tricks.
Miles follows with 46 points on 32 goals and 14 assists. Kennedy and Williams are tied with 44 points apiece. Kennedy is second on the team with 37 goals with seven assists for her 44 points, while Williams has 44 points on 29 goals and 15 assists. Yovino rounds out the Midshipmen's top five with 42 points thanks to 17 goals and 25 assists.
Maggie DeFabio,
Anna Gotterup, and
Bella Paradiso close out the Mids double-digit point scorers. DeFabio has 23 points on 17 goals and six assists, while Gotterup follows with 15 points on a balanced eight goals and seven assists. Paradiso, who registered her first collegiate hat trick at Lafayette, has 14 points on 11 goals and three assists to close out the double-digit point scorers.

Chloe Brown add nine points apiece. McAteer has a balanced five scores and four helpers while Brown, who recorded her first hat trick against the Leopards, has eight goals and an assist.

The Navy defense has held nine opponents – Villanova (5 goals), High Point (6 goals), South Florida (8 goals), Bucknell (6 goals), Holy Cross (3 goals), Lehigh (6 goals), Boston University (5g), #14 Army (8g), and Lafayette (1g) – to single-digit goals.
The Mids have caused 137 of their opponents' 248 turnovers (55.2 percent). Yovino, Johns, Chung, and
Felicia Giglio lead the team with 19, 16, 15, and 14 caused turnovers, correspondingly. Gage and Kennedy follow with nine apiece with DeFabio adding eight. Cain,

Giglio leads the team with 43 ground balls with Yovino following with 33 ground ball pickups. Giglio has played and started each game for Navy in the cage, working 846:12 minutes of action between the posts. The junior goalie has 102 of the Mids' 110 saves on the year with a 7.94 goals against average and 47.7 save percentage.

Angelina Price has posted seven saves in just over 49 minutes of action (49:09), while sophomore
Lila Stachowski registered her first collegiate save against Lafayette. Stachowski has logged four minutes in a pair of appearances, while sophomore
Cam Rohner made her first collegiate appearance against the Leopards, recording a clean score sheet.

Maura Murphy boasts a team-high 100 draw wins. The senior notched her first double-digit draw performance against High Point (14), while adding 11 draw wins against Lehigh and 12 at Lafayette. Yovino follows with 48 draws, while Kennedy adds 20 draw wins and Williams has 19.
Scouting the Opposition
Colgate enters the week with a 5-8 overall record, including a 3-4 mark in the Patriot League. The Raiders enter the game on a two-game losing streak.
Colgate is led by Aubrey McMahon and Ella Bishara who boast 63 and 39 points, respectively. McMahon leads the team with 45 goals to go along with a team-high 18 assists for 63 points, while Bishara has 33 goals and six assists for her 39 points. Sarah Marcovici (10g 14a), Katie Walsh (20g 4a), and Gracie DeSimone (18g 5a) round out Colgate's top-five-point scorers with 24, 24, and 23 points, in order.
Sophie Granse leads the team with 19 ground balls and 20 caused turnovers. Josie Cavallo leads the Raiders with 105 draw controls.
Maddie Stevens has played and started all 13 games for the Raiders this season. She has recorded 115 saves with 185 goals allowed in 713:09 minutes of work for a 38.3 save percentage and a 15.56 goals against average.
Chung, Yovino Among Final 25 Tewaaraton Award Nominees
The Tewaaraton Foundation has announced the 2026 Women's Nominees for the Tewaaraton Award and Navy student-athletes
Alyssa Chung and
Ava Yovino were named to the list.
The Tewaaraton Award is recognized as the preeminent lacrosse award, annually honoring the top male and female college lacrosse player in the United States. The selection committees are composed of premier college coaches and are appointed annually by the Tewaaraton Foundation.
The 2026 Tewaaraton Watch List was announced Feb. 10, with the first round of additions being announced March 5 and a second round of additions March 26. Five women's finalists will be selected from this group, to be announced May 7 at the conclusion of the regular season. They will be honored May 28 at the 2026 Tewaaraton Award Ceremony at the Andrew W Mellon Auditorium, in Washington D.C.
Chung and Yovino are the third and fourth Midshipmen to advance to the Tewaaraton Award Nominees, joining Jenna Collins in 2018 and Kelly Larkin in 2019.
