BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Patriot League announced its weekly track & field honors, naming Navy's Brian Schloeder the field athlete of the week. This marks his third league weekly award of the season, following his performance at the Sam Howell Invitational on Saturday.
 
Schloeder tied the third-highest pole vault mark in school history at 5.27 meters (17 feet, 3.5 inches) to finish second. The effort stands as the top height in the Patriot League so far this year and ranks fourth in the Mid-Atlantic region.
 
Navy returns to action this Saturday, traveling to West Point, N.Y., to face Army in the annual Army-Navy Outdoor Star Meet. Field events begin at 10 a.m., followed by track events at noon.
