SPARKS, Md. – USA Lacrosse revealed its NCAA Division I women's All-Americans on Thursday afternoon and Navy placed four players on the list. Sophomore
Alyssa Chung was selected to the first team, while senior
Ava Yovino was named to the second team. Juniors
Felicia Giglio and
Mikayla Williams were honorable mention selections.
Thirty-six Division I programs were represented and 102 players earned recognition.
It is the fourth consecutive year that Navy had at least one selection and the second year in a row placing four student-athletes on the USA Lacrosse All-America teams.
For Chung and Williams, it is the second consecutive season that the duo has earned All-American honors from USA Lacrosse, both earning honorable mention distinction last season. It is the second time that Yovino has earned USA Lacrosse All-American, earning the honorable mention distinction as a freshman in 2023. It is the first honor of Giglio's career.
The #5 / #4 Navy women's lacrosse team (18-1) takes on UMass (16-2) in the first round of the 2026 NCAA Tournament on Friday, May 8 at 3:00 p.m. at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium in Annapolis, Md. Navy is hosting the first and second round of the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2013. The Midshipmen earned the No. 6 seed for the NCAA Tournament, marking the highest seed in program history.
Aside from the Navy / UMass game, the Midshipmen also hosts #9 / #7 Syracuse (13-5) versus #23 / #22 Loyola (12-7) on Friday at 7:00 p.m. The winners from Friday's games will meet on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. in the NCAA Second Round.
Alyssa Chung – Attacker | So. | 5-7 | Severna Park, Md. | Severna Park
Chung, who was named a Tewaaraton Award Finalist on Tuesday evening, paces the team with 102 points on a team-high 72 goals with a team-best 30 assists to her credit.
The sophomore became the sixth player in program history to record 100 or more points in a season, joining Jenna Collins (2017, '18), Julia Collins (2018), Jasmine DePompeo (2013), Kelly Larkin (2017, '18, '19), and Erin Rawlick (2010).
Ava Yovino – Midfielder | Sr. | 5-8 | Parkland, Fla. | St. Thomas Aquinas
Yovino, who picked up her third all-conference selection two weeks ago, was named USA Lacrosse All-American for the second time in her career after earning the honor as a freshman. The senior team captain has 48 points on 19 goals and 29 assists with 57 draw controls, 36 ground balls, and 22 caused turnovers. Additionally, Yovino was tabbed an Inside Lacrosse Midseason All-American and was named to the Tewaaraton Award Top 25 Nominees earlier this season.
Felicia Giglio – Goalkeeper | Jr. | 5-7 | Bayport, N.Y. | Bayport Blue-Point
Giglio was named honorable mention All-American for the first time in her career. The Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Year also claimed First Team All-Patriot League distinction for the first time this season. The junior was part of a Navy defense that has held twelve (12) opponents to single-digit goals. She heads into the NCAA Tournament with 124 saves with a 7.85 goals against average and a 47.0 save percentage.
Mikayla Williams – Midfielder | Jr. | 5-4 | Bexley, Ohio | Bexley
Williams claimed her second USA Lacrosse All-American nod. The three-time All-Patriot League performer has played and started 18 games this season, notching 58 points on 37 goals and 21 assists, while adding 25 draw controls, 15 ground balls, and three caused turnovers. The junior scored goals in 15 (of 18) games with multiple goals in 12 games, including nine hat tricks.
