What other schools offered you and what was it about Navy that made you come here?  Coming out of high school, I had only two offers: Navy and West Point. The thing that sold me on Navy was the faces of the people walking around campus when I took my visits. When I took my West Point visit, it seemed like the students there were not happy. When I took my visits to Navy, the students were happy. I understand that being a student at a service academy is challenging, but the people at Navy were happier to be going through the struggle compared to West Point. Once I saw that, I knew this was the place I wanted to be.
 
What would you tell somebody that is considering coming to Navy to play football?  Honestly, I would tell them that if they want to go to a school that won't challenge them morally, mentally and physically, then this is not the place for them. The Naval Academy is definitely a fun place to be at, but you also have to acknowledge the fact it's not all fun and games. There will be times when you are struggling with a class, or with a workout, or anything academy related. But learning how to receive and give help from the people around you is what really helps you succeed here. I think that going through the struggle is worth it, because in the end you will be a better person in all aspects of life.
 
If you could play another position, what position would you play and why?  Tight end. That was my second position coming out of high school and I enjoyed doing it.
 
If you could choose any opponent for Navy to play that is currently not on the schedule, who would you choose and why?  Definitely Maryland. I know that in the early 2000's the game vs Maryland was called the Crab Bowl. I think that restarting that series would give us another rivalry game. I also think it would allow a lot of football fans in Maryland to see the state's only two FBS schools compete.
 
Favorite class at the Naval Academy and why?  My favorite class so far is definitely Maj. Watje's plebe English class. He was a great teacher. Whenever we had debates in class about what we were reading, it was almost as if he instigated the debates. I also like how class was less lecturing and more of the class having a conversation about different topics.
 
Favorite teacher at the Naval Academy and why?  My favorite teacher here is Cmdr. Cummins. I liked how unfiltered the class was when analyzing texts or documentaries about war.
 
Favorite form of social media and why?  My favorite form of social media is Instagram. IG Reels is the perfect place to find something to laugh at. Reels also have the best comment sections. The comments make funny videos 10 times funnier.
 
If you could have dinner with any 4 people that are currently at the Naval Academy, who would you choose and why?  The four people I would choose to have dinner with would be Coach Anthony Cimino on the strength staff, my teammate Jordan Collins, Cmdr. Cummins and Maj. Watje. 
Favorite sport to follow at the Naval Academy outside of football and why?    Basketball and Track are my favorite sports to follow because I used to do both.
 
What song is playing on your headphones in the locker room right before taking the field?  Always Alive by Yeat.
 
What is your dream vacation?   My dream vacation would be to visit Germany someday. I love German culture and it would be perfect for me to practice my German.

What does it mean to wear "Navy" across your chest?  To me it means representing something bigger than myself. It means that whatever I do, and wherever I go, I represent more than just myself. Because Navy is across my chest, I am representing all of my classmates, my school and most importantly the Navy and the US Military.
 
What leadership lesson has football taught you? Football has taught me that every single person has a role. The team is like the engine of a car. If one tiny piece is missing, the engine won't run correctly. No matter how big or small the role is, everyone plays a part.
