ANNAPOLIS, Md. - The Navy women's soccer team will begin a busy stretch of home action with a Tuesday afternoon matchup versus Marywood. The contest between the Mids (1-2-1) and the Pacers (0-0) is the first of three games at the Glenn Warner Soccer Facility over five days. Following Tuesday's 5 p.m. contest which will count for Navy, but be deemed an exhibition for Marywood, will be tilts with Maryland on Thursday night at 7 p.m. and Marist on Sunday at 1 p.m.

The Mids and Pacers have met just one previous time on the pitch as the two program's went head-to-head on August 26, 2025 in Annapolis with Navy coming out on top by a score of 3-0 ... In a similar setup to this 2026 affair, the contest was countable for Navy and used as an exhibition for Marywood ... The Pacers are first-year members of the MAC Freedom Conference and are coming off a 16-2 campaign their final season in the Atlantic East in 2025 ... Faith Graziano and solid contributions from 20 different players guided the Navy women's soccer team to a 3-0 victory over Marywood University on Tuesday afternoon at the Glenn Warner Soccer Facility.

Emily Clay's two assists, the Midshipmen also posted the clean sheet with a formidable backline and a combined shutout fromÂ

The Pacers started the contest by pushing the Mids' defense and controlling possession early, resulting in Carly Walters placing a shot on target in the sixth minute that required the Navy defenders kicking away a chance heading for the left post.

Navy quickly turned the tables and got its first shot past Marywood's goalkeeper in the 21st minute asÂ
Madison Whitworth's pass found Clay upfield, who then fed Graziano for a kick that rifled into the right side.

Trading possession after the restart, another Navy push found a loose ball knocked down by Graziano near the box, with the rookie launching another goal past Jenna Orr in the 25th minute.
After Clay sent a trio of shots wide trying to extend the lead, Graziano completed her hat trick and made it 3-0 when Clay crossed a pass into the box, with Graziano aiming a shot into the left side of the net at 38:41.
