ANNAPOLIS, Md. – Coming off a resilient finish to its season-opening trip to San Diego, the Navy men's soccer team (0-1-1) will open its home schedule on Friday night and Monday afternoon at Glenn Warner Soccer Facility to kick off a three-game homestand.
Marking the home debut of new head coach
John Hackworth, the Midshipmen welcome George Washington (1-1-0) on Friday for a 7:05 p.m. opening kick under the lights. Navy then turns around to host Presbyterian (0-2-0) in a Monday matinee at 1:05 p.m. Both games will air on ESPN+ with Joe Miller on the call.
Parking / Shuttle / Ticket Information
Fans are reminded that the general public does not have access to drive their vehicles on to the U.S. Naval Academy. Fans may park at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium for a fee and take a shuttle that will run every 10 minutes starting one hour before the game and will continue running until one hour after the game is completed. Fans 18 and over need a government-issued photo ID. Enter Gate 5 off Taylor Ave. to park at the stadium. Dogs are not permitted inside the Glenn Warner Soccer Complex. All soccer contests at Glenn Warner will be free of charge.

Friday's home opener against GW will feature a t-shirt giveaway presented by Nothing Bundt Cakes, as well as a Navy button pin giveaway to the first 100 fans … Monday's match with Presbyterian is scheduled have $2.00 hot dogs at the concession stand.
Gallucci Named Patriot League Midfielder of the Week
Navy sophomore
Nick Gallucci was named the Patriot League Midfielder of the Week on Monday afternoon … Tallying the primary assist on both Navy goals in the 2-2 draw at San Diego State, Gallucci started each of the Mids' first two games of the season … After logging 61 minutes of action in the season opener Thursday at UC San Diego, the Hoboken, N.J., native then went the full 90 minutes on Sunday afternoon while setting up both Navy tallies … Sunday marked Gallucci's first multi-assist performance at the collegiate level, as Gallucci has now tallied three goals and three assists for nine points in his 16 career games for the Mids.
Introducing John Hackworth
Last week's games marked the regular-season debut of
John Hackworth as the Navy head coach, as his overall college coaching record moved to 47-33-3 … Bringing over 30 years of experience across the highest levels of American soccer, Hackworth was named the next head men's soccer coach at the Naval Academy in December 2025 … Hackworth becomes just the seventh head coach in the 105-year history of the Navy men's soccer program … Hackworth spent the last four years as the director of coaching and technical director of Major League Soccer's St. Louis City SC … Also spending time as an assistant coach for the senior U.S. men's national team and the head coach for USMNT U17 team, he previously had stints as head coach of the USL's Louisville City FC, MLS' Philadelphia Union and the University of South Florida.
Navy in Home Openers
The Mids have posted a 13-8-4 record in home openers since the completion of the Glenn Warner Soccer Facility in 2001 … Last year's home opener saw Navy get off to a quick start as the Mids posted a 2-2 draw against Mount St. Mary's, as
Duncan Sullivan converted on a first-half penalty kick for his first collegiate goal and then assisted on
Andrew Schug's second-half tally before the Mount's Jack Kehoe scored a late brace to tie it.
