2018 (Senior): Awarded the Thompson Trophy Cup, which is presented to that midshipman, male or female, who has done the most during the year to promote athletics at the Naval Academy … Selected team captain for the defense prior to the season … In addition, was named Captain of the Captains for the Naval Academy during the 2018-19 academic year … Named Honorable Mention All-Collegiate Sprint Football League … Ranked fifth on the team with 34 total tackles (24 solo) with 2.5 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, five pass break ups and two forced fumbles … Had a season-high seven tackles against Caldwell and versus Army West Point in the annual Star Game presented by USAA … Had a tackle for loss against Army West Point during the regular season and in the CSFL Championship … Forced a pair of fumbles against Mansfield, while breaking up a pass against the Black Knights … Registered a pair of rushes on fake kick attempts for 37 yards, including a season-long of 24 yards against Army, while adding 13 against Chestnut Hill.
 
2017 (Junior): Named First Team All-Collegiate Sprint Football League … Played and started all eight games on the season … Finished the year with 47 tackles, including 29 solo tackles and 18 assisted stops … Notched 2.5 tackles for loss, including 1.5 sacks … Blocked three kicks, while also forcing a fumble and registering two pass breakups … Had one interception for 19 yards and a touchdown at Mansfield … Returned a pair of punts for 25 yards, including a 22-yard return against Cornell … Named CSFL Defensive Player of the Week (Sept. 26).
 
2016 (Sophomore): Played in all seven games on the year, making five starts … Recorded 22 tackles, including 17 solo stops with a pair of pass breakups, an interception and a quarterback hurry … Had a season-best nine tackles, including a season-high seven solo stops in first collegiate start at Franklin Pierce … Recorded an interception, returning the pick for 37 yards … Credited with pass breakups at Cornell and against Chestnut Hill, while registering a QB hurry versus Post.
 
2015 (Freshman): Played in all seven games on special teams and as a backup linebacker … Registered nine tackles with a season-high four coming at home versus Cornell on Oct. 23 … Had two stops at Mansfield on Sept. 26 … Recovered a fumble in the season opener against Longwood on Sept. 18.
 
High School / Personal: Three-sport letterwinner at Charlotte Country Day School: lacrosse (4), swimming (4) and football (3) … Earned All-State (NCISAA) honors for both football and lacrosse … Served as a team captain for all three of his respective teams … Selected as US Lacrosse’s 2015 Bob Scott Award winner for the state of North Carolina … Elected as Class President his junior and senior years at Charlotte County Day, as well as participated in the school’s honor council … Honored with Citizenship Award twice and Senior of the Year Award … Son of Tom and Laurie.
