2016 Cross Country (Freshman):
Did not compete as a member of the cross country program. Ran distance events with the track & field team during the indoor and outdoor seasons.
High School / Personal: Graduated from Frank W. Cox High School and competed on the school’s swimming (four letters), track and field (two), and cross country (one) teams … Earned All-City and Team MVP honors in track in 2015-16 … Won the 2015 VHSL 6A Conference 1 crown for 3,200 meters and followed it up with a fourth-place result at the ensuing VHSL 6A South Regional Championship the next week … Served as the team captain as a senior for cross country, track and swim teams … Led swim teams to four district and regional titles … Individually, earned All-City and All-State (Va.) honors all four years with the swim team and was the team MVP in last three seasons … Two-time USA Swimming Scholastic All-American … Member of the National Honor Society, the Art Honor Society and the Math Honor Society … Daughter of Bernadette and the late Paul Ostrowski … Both of her parents were 1993 graduates of the Naval Academy … Uncle John Ostrowski ('91) and cousin Madeline Ostrowski ('18) have graduated from USNA … Paul (baseball: '89-93), Bernadette (swimming: '89-93), and Madeline (soccer: '14-17) all participated in athletics at the Naval Academy.
