Ryan Sargent serves as an Assistant Sports Information Director for the NAAA. He is the primary media contact for the baseball, women’s golf, rifle, sailing, men’s soccer and women’s tennis programs.
Prior to Navy, Sargent served as an athletic communication graduate assistant at Slippery Rock University where he served as the primary media contact for The Rock men’s and women’s soccer programs along with its softball team.
In addition to his work at Slippery Rock University, Sargent worked in the sports information office at Mansfield University as a student assistant for the entirety of his undergraduate career. For his efforts, he was named the 2019 Steve McCloskey Service Award recipient for outstanding service to the Mansfield University Athletic Department.
A Lawrenceville, Pennsylvania native, Sargent earned his bachelor’s degree in mass communication from Mansfield University along with his master’s degree in park and resource management from Slippery Rock University.
He currently resides in Chester with his fiancé, Erin.
