Naval Academy Athletics

As a junior: Emma competed in 16 events as a crew splitting her time between women’s sailing, and coed sailing. Some of her most notable finishes include a second at the Prosser trophy, and a sixth at the Laser Performance Team Race National Championship. She also competed in the Gill College sailing Coed National championships where Navy finished third. Emma had four additional podium finishes, and was named to both MAISA and ICSA All-Academic Teams at the conclusion of the year.

As a Sophomore: Emma competed in 17 events as a crew splitting her time between women’s sailing, coed sailing and match racing. She helped Navy to qualify for the National Championships in all three of those disciplines. Additionally, she won the Aaron Szambecki Team Race and had four additional podium finishes. 

As a Freshman: As a walk on crew, Emma got to sail in 10 events during her first year of college sailing, including the ICSA Women’s National Championship where Navy finished 18th. She was also a valuable member of the match race team. Her best finishes this year included a victory at the Intrepid Trophy and a third-place finish at the Washington College Team Race.  Emma was named to the MAISA All-Academic Team at the conclusion of the year.
 
Prior to Navy: Graduated from Irondequoit High school in 2016. Played on the varsity tennis and lacrosse teams. Member of National Honor Society, Student Government and Model UN. Enjoyed participating in skiing and sailing in free time. Daughter of Tom Rall and Carrie Remis.
