Lettered four times each in cross country and track & field at Ardrey Kell High School … The 2021 North Carolina Gatorade Boys Cross Country Player of the Year after winning the NCHSAA 4A Championship as a senior … Did not lose a race as a senior during the 2020 season winning three regular season meets, as well as the SoMeck 7 Conference, NCHSAA 4A West Regional and the NCHSAA State Championship … Placed fourth at the 2019 N.C. State XC Championship; won the 2019 4A West Regional … As a senior during the 2021 outdoor season, won the 4A West Regional for the 1,600m and 3,200m races and came in second in the 3,200m at the state championship … Selected as Ardrey Kell’s Team MVP all four years in XC and twice in TF … Served as team captain for XC and TF each of his final three seasons … School record holder in the 3,200m (TF) and 5k (XC) … Son of Scott and Stephanie … Grandfather was a member of the track and field team at Auburn.
