Biography

2021 // Junior Year
• Transitioned from offensive midfield to short-stick defensive middie in the fall of 2020
• Saw action in 8 of the 9 contests
• Navy’s defensive unit closed out the year ranked #11 in the country and #3 in the Patriot League in scoring defense (10.00) and #23 nationally (#2 in the PL) in man-down defense (20 of 29, 69.0) ... the Mids were also #10 in the Patriot League and #2 in the PL in clearing percentage (88.5)
• The Mids held Lafayette without a goal for three incredible stretches ... after the Leopards took a 5-4 lead at 11:38 in the second quarter, Lafayette did not score for 13 minutes, allowing Navy to go on a 6-0 run and build a 10-5 lead at the half ... the Leopards scored the first 2 goals of the third quarter, but would find the back of the net just once over a 25-minute timeframe with a pair of 12-plus minute droughts (12:33 3Qtr - 1:39 4Qtr / 1 goal at 0:01 3Qtr)
• Navy’s defense held #10 Army to a single goal in the opening half and just one goal over the final 17-plus minutes of the contest en route to a 9-4 victory in the Star Game
• The Mids held Army to just four goals, its lowest goal output since losing to Loyola 13-4 in the 2017 Patriot League Championship Game
• It was also the fewest goals scored by Army in an Army-Navy Game (Star Game or otherwise) since the Mids beat the Black Knights 8-4 on April 11, 2009
• Part of a Navy defense that held Bucknell scoreless for better than 10 minutes as the Mids went on a 5-0 run and broke a 6-6 tie in the third quarter to take the lead for good
• Navy’s defense held Jacksonville without a goal for nearly 25 minutes (24:19) as the Mids went on a 9-0 run in the second and third quarters
• After giving up 5 goals over the first 23:11, Navy’s defense held the Dolphins to a single goal over the final 36:49
• Part of a defensive unit that held Mount St. Mary’s scoreless for the first 37-plus minutes of the game, while Navy jumped out to a 7-0 lead ... the Mids gave up just 3 even-strength goals in the 8-5 win

2020 // Sophomore Year
• Started in two of the five games in which he played where he produced 7 points on 5 goals and a pair of assists
• Produced a career-best 3 points on a pair of goals and an assist against Colgate
• Made his first career start in the Mids’ league opener at Lehigh
• Turned in 2-point effort at Richmond, including dealing out his first career assist
• Punched in a pair of goals on a pair of shots in Navy’s 19-3 win over Furman (2.15), the first multi-goal and multi-point game of his career

2019 // Freshman Year
• Saw action in 8 contests, including making his collegiate debut against Princeton
• Emerged as a member of Navy’s second midfield line over the last half of the season
• Scored his first career goal in the Mids’ win over Lafayette

High School
• 2017 graduate of Bellevue High School in Bellevue, Wash.
• Attended the Naval Academy Prep School during the 2017-18 academic year
• Three-year lacrosse letter winner who was a two-time First-Team All-State selection
• Member of the Bellevue lacrosse teams that won the Washington state title in 2014 and again in 2016
• Originally committed to play at Boston University

• Son of Poe and Dede Fratt
• His service assignment is Naval Flight Officer
• Majoring in Quantitative Economics
• Has earned Commandant’s (F2020) List accolades
• Father, Poe, played rugby at Stanford (1984)
• Sister, Izzy, played field hockey at Cornell ‘14
• Uncle, William, played No. 1 on the Cornell squash team for three years and ran cross country
• Grandfather, Poe, played football for Cornell and won the 1953 Pop Warner Most Valuable Player Award
• Great grandfather, Norbert, also played football for Cornell in 1925
• Great granduncle, Campbell Dallas Emory, was a 1921 graduate of the Naval Academy and a captain of the swimming team in his senior year ... after retiring in 1951, he was promoted to Rear Admiral on the basis of combat awards
