• Navy’s leading scorer with 48 points on a team-best 28 goals and 20 assists, Skalniak was named a USILA Honorable Mention All-American, Inside Lacrosse Honorable Mention All-American and USA Lacrosse Magazine Third-Team All-American ... he was also a First-Team All-Patriot League selection for a second-consecutive year
• Named to the Tewaaraton Award Watch List in the second round of additions on April 1
• Along with teammate Jackson Bonitz, named an Inside Lacrosse Midseason All-American ... Skalniak was named to the second team, while Bonitz was a third-team selection
• Recipient of the Lt. Robert T. Bianchi Award, presented to the team’s most valuable player
• Owns the team’s longest active point-scoring streak, having produced a point in 29-consecutive games - every game of his career
• With his 6-point performance against #18 Johns Hopkins, he became the program’s 17th different midfielder to post 30 points in a season and with his 3 goals at Army, he became just the fifth different midfielder to reach 40 points in a season ... he joins Bob DeSimone (44, 1975), Ryan Wade (48, 2019), Glen Miles (53, 1986) and Brian Keith (53, 1989)
• His 48 points are tied as the third most in program history by a midfielder for a single season and the most since Ryan Wade finished 2019 with 48 points (20-28) ... Brian Keith (41-12, 1989) and Glen Miles (1986, 23-30) hold the single season record with 53 points
• Skalniak reached 40 points the same game fellow middie Dane Swanson eclipsed 30 with his 4-point effort against the Black Knights ... meanwhile, Max Hewitt added his name to the list when he reached 30 points in the season finale with a 3-point effort against Lehigh (5.3) ... it’s the first time in the program’s 115-year history that it has produced three 30-point scorers out of the midfield in the same season (Skalniak 28-20=48 / Swanson 21-17=38 / Hewitt 20-12=32)
• Paced Navy with a 4-point effort (3G, 1A) against Lehigh in the Patriot League Quarterfinals ... 2 of his 3 goals were scored a man up
• Dealt out a pair of assists in the Mids’ 13-6 win over Bucknell
• Named to the USILA National Team of the Week on April 25 following his 3-goal performance that helped lead the Mids to a come-from-behind victory over #6 Army.
• After producing 4 points (2G, 2A) in the previous 4 games combined (Holy Cross, Boston U., Loyola, Lafayette), he punched in his fifth hat trick of the spring to pace the Mids in the goals column against #6 Army
• Dealt out an assist to Dane Swanson to help spark Navy’s 4-0 run in the second quarter of the Lafayette contest
• Punched in his team-high 22nd goal of the season of an assist from co-captain Nick Cole against Loyola
• Was held to just 3 shots and dealt out an assist against No. 14 Boston U.
• Held to just a single goal in Navy’s 14-8 win over Holy Cross ... it was the first time in 10 games that he did not have an assist
• Matched his career high in points with 6 (3G, 3A) in the Mids’ come-from-behind victory over Johns Hopkins ... combined with fellow starting midfielder Max Hewitt to provide a point on 10 of Navy’s 11 goals
• Paced Navy with a career-high tying 6 points on a career-best 5 goals (on 8 shots) and an assist in Navy’s 11-10 come-from-behind win over Colgate ... it’s the first time a Navy player has scored 5 goals in a game since Tyler Perreten scored 5 against Colgate in 2020
• Scored 4 consecutive goals for the Midshipmen against the Raiders and 5 of 6 between the second and fourth quarters (1:30 2Qtr / 12:43 3Qtr / 11:57 3Qtr / 10:36 4Qtr / 8:12 Hewitt goal / 3:58 4Qtr) ... sparked Navy’s fourth-quarter comeback with the first of 5-straight goals by the Mids ... scored the game-tying goal (9-9) with 3:58 remaining and assisted on the goal (Dane Swanson) that put Navy up by 2 (11-9) but would end up being the game-winning goal at 1:30
• Dealt out an assist on Navy’s extra-man goal by Nick Cole in the Patriot League opener against Lehigh ... took just 1 shot in the contest and turned the ball over 3 times ... had scored a goal in 7-consecutive games entering the contest
• Produced 3 points on a pair of goals and an assist in Navy’s one-goal loss to High Point
• Alongside Nick Cole, led Navy with 4 points (2G, 2A) against Manhattan ... among his goals was his first extra-man score of the season and the third of his career
• Turned in his third-consecutive 5-point performance in the Mids’ 13-6 win at Hofstra ... scored a pair of goals and dealt out 3 assists
• Paced the Mids with a 3-goal, 2-assist effort in the Mids’ 15-5 win over Mercer
• Turned in his second-career hat trick with a 3-goal, 2-assist performance against Mount St. Mary’s in the opener
2021 // Sophomore Year
• Garnered First-Team All-Patriot League honors after closing out the year as the Mids’ second-leading scorer with 24 points on 12 goals and 12 assists
• Recorded 3 points on a pair of goals and an assist in the Mids’ Patriot League Quarterfinals loss to Loyola (5.4) ... scored his first extra-man goal of the season and the second of his career
• Punched in a pair of goals in Navy’s win at Lafayette
• Held to just an assist by Loyola (4.17) in the second meeting, as well as Army
• Turned in a goal and an assist in the Mids’ road game against Lehigh
• Led the squad against Loyola (4.3) with 5 points on 3 goals and a pair of assists ... it was his first-career hat trick
• Paced the team with a career-high 6 points on 2 goals (tied career high) and 4 assists (career high) in the Mids’ league opener against Bucknell
• Had a hand in 4 of Navy’s 6 goals (2G, 2A) in the Mids’ third-quarter scoring outburst against the Bison, scoring back-to-back goals (6-5, 7-6), while dealing out back-to-back assists (9-6, 10-6)
• Turned in 3 points (1G, 2A) in the Mids’ win over Jacksonville
• Scored the first goal of the season for Navy with his unassisted bouncer against Mount St. Mary’s at 12:49 in the first quarter ... also forced a career-best 2 turnovers
2020 // Freshman Year
• A starter at midfield in all 5 contests, he was the team’s fourth-leading scorer with 10 points on 5 goals and 5 assists
• Scored a goal in 4 of the 5 games (Lehigh) and a point in all 5
• Scored a pair of goals and added an assist for a career-best 3 points against Colgate ... scored a crucial extra-man goal with under 2 minutes to go in the contest to give the Mids a 2-goal advantage
• Dealt out a pair of assists in Navy’s league opener at Lehigh ... also recorded his first career caused turnover
• Punched in a second-half goal at Richmond
• Turned in a goal and an assist for a second straight game
• Turned in a goal and an assist in his collegiate debut, a 9-4 victory by the Mids over Manhattan in the opener

• Father, Philip, is a 1983 graduate of the Naval Academy and four-year lacrosse letter winner for the Midshipmen ... he garnered Third-Team All-America honors as a senior midfielder ... he retired from the Marine Corps when Patrick was 9 years old
• Uncle, William Anderson, is a 1982 graduate of the Naval Academy and was a three-year lacrosse letter winner ... Patrick’s mom, Helen, and William’s wife, Anne, are sisters
