                                                                2013-14 (Jr.) -- Splitting his time between the No. 1            and 2 positions on the ladder, he posted a team-high tying 16 wins for the Mids ...            owned a 16-10 record overall, including an 11-0 mark at the No. 2 position ... began            the year playing No. 2 and won his first 11 matches of the year ... won a challenge            match against classmate Andrew McGuinness and played the entire second half of the            season at No. 1 ... one of his biggest wins of the season was against 10th-ranked            Dartmouth's Nicholas Harrington in four games ... beat Harrington for a second time in            five games in the opening round of the CSA Team Championship ... also represented Navy            at the CSA Individual Championship where he was 1-2 ... lost his opening match to            Princeton's Michael LeBlanc in five games, but bounced back to sweep Penn's Liam Quinn            in the consolation round ... bowed out of the tournament following a second five-game            heartbreaker to Bates' Darrius Campbell.
            
             2012-13 (So.) -- Produced a 21-15 record (2-2 tournament) in his            second season ... played the first half of the season at the No. 1 spot where he posted            a 14-1 record ... moved to the No. 2 position at the end of November where he posted a            5-12 record ... earned the No. 1 slot on the ladder by way of his 3-2 victory over            classmate Andrew McGuinness in the annual USS Barb Tournament where he overcame a            2-games-to-none deficit ... he is the 38th different player to win the tournament ...            opened the year on a 15-match winning streak before dropping a three-game decision to            Bates' Ahmed Abdel Khalek ... while as a freshman he found success in five-game            matches, he surrendered losses in three of the four marathon matches as a sophomore,            including his opening round CSA Team Championship match against Columbia ... bounced            back to defeat Kristian Muldoon of Bates in four games and swept Brown's Oliver Booth            ... posted a 2-2 record at the CSA Individual Championship ... opened with a 3-0 win            over Franklin & Marshall's Antonio De La Torre, but was sent to the consolation            round following a 3-1 loss to Brown's Blake Reinson ... defeated Yale's Eric Caine in            the consolations, 3-0, before bowing out of the tournament with a 3-0 loss to Cornell's            Ryan Todd in the consolation quarterfinals.
            
             2011-12 (Fr.) -- Playing the No. 2 and 3 spots on the ladder, he            turned in a 19-7 record in his first season at the Academy ... opened his collegiate            slate by winning his first eight matches, including a 3-0 decision over Andrew Grosner            of Fordham for his first collegiate victory ... dropped his first match to Dartmouth's            Luke Lee in a five-game heartbreaker ... bounced back to scored a 3-2 win over Nicholas            Marks of 10th-ranked Williams ... nearly picked off Penn's Dan Greenberg, dropping a            five-game decision at home ... won seven in a row, sparked by a five-game win over            Bowdoin's Stephan Danyluk and included a 3-1 victory over Ibrahim Khan of St. Lawrence            ... defeated Brown's Chris Holter, 3-1, in what would be his lone win at the CSA Team            Championship ... played seven five-game matches over the course of the season, winning            five of them.
            
             High School -- A 2010 graduate of Malvern Preparatory School in            Malvern, Pa., Kacergis was four-sport athlete who earned letters in squash (4),            baseball (3), soccer (3) and rugby (1) ... a two-time (2009, `10) All-MASA squash            player, who received All-Interac honors as a junior and senior ... also received            All-Main Line recognition in 2008, `09 and `10 ... served as team captain of the squash            team his senior year ... he was selected as a 2010 U.S. Squash-Scholar Athlete ... he            also holds a national junior championship title, winning the 2009 U.S. Squash Silver            Singles [under 19 division] ... member of the National Honor Society who received First            Honors (3.5 GPA) through high school.
